Just wondering but does Ur ss vegeta have the bts stamp on his feet? Cuz I have the problems Ur talking about with my ko ss vegeta where the arm wants to fall out of the socket and doesn't want to stay up in there but it's only with one that I have the other ko dosent have that problem. Like timone said squeaky joints are a good thing in most cases it just means the joints r nice a tight almost all my real ones r like that but the more u pose and play with them the more it goes away and the looser the joints get

it does, though i have a trunks that doesnt, yet it came with bandai box, even the import one, the vaseline fixed the squeaking, i was worried since limbs were really hard and afraid they might break if pushed, still the shoulder falls out of the socket and the leg in the same side whenever i move it, i have to reset it.

I am worried that you might of bought a boot leg mixed with the original. Regular vegeta lower body with bootleg chest and arms and regular heads? does the seller have good ratings?

yes it was one of the oficial distributors of the line, though the figure was previously open, ,but the paint is consistent, and the same thing seems to happen in both upper and lower limbs, however its way looser on the left shoulders, and the tightness and squeaking was consistent also..

I'm pretty sure it is a legit figure because it has the blue neck peg.

The figure is clearly legit! The problem is most likely it has dad a fall, leaving that connection loose. I don't really have a solution, other than pack the joint with adhesive tack.

Here you have the torso (ignore the Goku arms, I used the Vegeta arms for something else). I think I said don't try to remove the front plate at the bottom...well that may actually be OK as long as you're careful. Just put a tool beneath the plate and wedge it out. There's a small section between the plate and inner box, it should help give a little leverage. There you have it. At that point simply remove the screws and seek the problem. just showing these so you'll know what to expect. This is the front half of the box (I refer to the box parts as the spine). The back half of this box has been modified but it should look something like this. If there's a problem with the areas that hold the arm joints you may have an issue as repairing the spherical sockets can be very difficult. Not impossible...just tough. Hopefully you're just dealing with some loose screws. tagging you so you won't miss this, mmfsm

Wow. It actually looks like that is easier to crack open than most figures I have done as customs.

thanks again, one question, i took it that it shouldnt be very hard to yank the front piece, i have been trying with failed results, that coupled with a dink on the bottom side of the line makes me think this has been tampered with, possibly shut with glue.
so it shouldnt be extremely hard to pry it open right?
thanks again

It shouldn't. I didn't notice your earlier comment about the paint being inconsistent...with everything you've said it sounds like reaper might be right. It would be very easy to make a blend of real and fake parts and pass it off as a real figure. It's hard to say, the neck has a blue peg and the fake Vegeta has a white peg...but for all I know the person may have put a real neck in a fake torso. Any chance you could take a few more pics? Maybe a video?

i got an exacto knife,a screwdriver, tried to yank the front piece to no avail, i found myself scratching it from the inside, i even hurt my thumb from applying the pressure, thank you all for your help, i tried blow drier, warm water, nothing loosens the chest, im afraid its probably glued shut-
thank you all for your help, i really appreciate it, too bad its shut like this.,

I'm also debating on selling my last real ss vegeta and just going with the ko version since he's so close to the original. I'm also thinking of selling my sdcc goku because normal goku is so close to the same color all u would have to do is paint his belt and arm bands and I guess if u wanted to shade in an ss gokus hair. I know if I sold my sdcc goku I could buy like 3-4 normal gokus with the $

I don't think you should do it shiffty, you might regret it. I want my collection complete and w/o any knockoffs. I'm just happy I got great deals for my Vegeta/SDCC Goku because I would've ended up paying what they're going for now.
