Which of the Majin characters would you want? Vote for any 3.
I chose Pui Pui, Spopovich, and Dabura. Pui Pui is my favorite of the Buu debacle, so I definitely went with him, but I also like Spopovich and Dabura. If it were 4 votes, I would have went with Yakon right after. I personally don't want any more Buu related stuff (same goes for Cell) because there's too much merchandise of them already.
Give your votes and notate which ones you voted for.

What about Yamu?
I voted Dabura, Spopovich, and Super Buu. Irwin made each, but they're pretty big characters and their figures were a bit smaller than they should have been.

Yamu was too limited a role, so I figured not to include him. He was tertiary even to Spopovich and Pui Pui. I don't think he would ever be made in SH Figuarts format no matter how many votes accumulated so I tried to be realistic in that sense. There's as much chance of a Yamu piece as there is a Grand Kai or Supreme Grand Kai in SH Figuarts format.

For my personal tastes, I wouldn't be interested in buying any of them. I didn't like Buu Saga's new characters at all (even though my Buu saga figure collection is my biggest section... thanks to Irwin... ugh). Just my truthful opinion, I'm not saying it to be controversial. I just wouldn't buy any Buu Saga stuff; Saiyan and Namek sagas are what I ask a big fan of. Pretty much anybody made from those two sagas would end up in my collection. Nothing from late DBZ at all unless it's movie characters.

I honestly prefer the Buu saga people miles over the Cell saga people minus Android 19 and Dr. Gero. I dislike the entirety of Cell saga after Gero gets decapitated. I'm curious what you think about this, when I look at Buu saga, I see up to majin buu splitting. Once Super Buu goes on a spree, it turns poor to me also. So basically, I prefer the first quarter of the buu saga to the whole cell escapade. what are your thoughts, do you agree or disagree? In regards to what you said about the whole Saiyan and Namek bit, that's my favorite arc also, but I consider it all a part of the Frieza saga as in Japan, there's really only Frieza, Cell, and Buu sagas. There are 16 sub-sagas in the US, but all these fall under the eventual larger arcs. my personal favorite of the sub-sagas is the Namek Saga [due to the inclusion of Frieza's elites and Vegeta's story]. I myself would also buy all the Frieza saga stuff first before buying anything related to the other sagas.

Mmmm, I like Great Saiyaman saga and that's about it from what I remember. I do like the part where Dabura is a funny ghost.

I just wanted to know if you like Cell saga or Buu saga. And when I say Cell saga I mean from when Imperfect Cell appears to when Perfect Cell gets fried by Gohan. That was my least favorite arc of all the sagas combined.

I lump everything that happened after Vegeta left earth to everybody leaving namek as either namek saga or Frieza saga, depending on, well, what I end up typing. I don't get very scientific unless I am referring to a specific Gohan change in appearance.
So I don't split namek saga up. For me, there is saiyan saga, namek/Frieza saga, garlic jr saga, cell saga (or trunks, android, and cell saga if referring to Gohan or somebody else wearing particular clothing or looking different), great saiyaman saga, and the rest is buu saga. I don't put a lot of importance on labeling things, but I'm less scientific than you are, but I like to split things up based on how the characters look.
I like Cell Saga just fine, it's not my favorite though.

You forgot Bididi too....who'd be much more wanted than Babidi, considering Irwin's Babidi is just fine for SHF scale. Could add Majin Vegeta as well, but I know you want to avoid the obvious choices.

Yeah, we want to try and avoid all the characters that have been made in that scale ten times over, which is why I don't put Vegeta or anyone else of that caliber.
The Majin Grunts also seemed like new designs, but how many people would actually vote for them? In hindsight, maybe Yamu was fine an addition although I still don't think people would vote for him.
Bibidi? He hardly even appears at all in the anime and much less the manga [and only in flashbacks]. I don't think there are any official pieces of Bibidi ever made by any company at all so why would they make something of him in SH Figuarts format? Let's be realistic, this is for SH pieces, not something that might show up in the DWC, HG Collection, or gashapon pieces.

I only voted for Super Buu because my other two votes would be for South Kai Buu (another form forgotten) and one of the Majin Cronies (forgotten as well) since those are the only Majins I have not made or collected. So yes, someone would vote for them. Jakks' Super Buu was not that great.

Yeah, but I don't see any company making a Majin Grunt anytime in the future, much less in SH Figuarts format. We all know the SH pieces cost around $50 each and that's the base retail value. The company will not make Majin Grunt in this assortment and we know that.
Also, I hate Jakks and Irwin both for not making any of my most favorite characters, but that's besides the point.

To be honest, based on what I was told by Bluefin, I don't think anybody in this poll, other than one or a few of the various Buu forms and Dabura, would be produced. They simply said that only main characters will be made. I'm not even sure Dabura will pass that test... but we can hope.
I would like it if Bandai would make some 5 inch scale figures of several of these with about 12 points of articulation or even no articulation though.

I'd at least like to see some new Shodo figures if they can't make the Figuarts treatment.

I think Majin Buu has the most chance of being made. But after that, there is some chance to characters like Dabura, Pui Pui, Spopovich. And absolutely no chance for characters like the Majin Grunts and Yamu.
I would personally buy a box-load of each of Frieza's elites and possibly Babidi's high Majins if they were made. The only androids I would buy are Gero and 19.

I think kid buu will most likely be made. He is after all the end-all villian in DBZ. I don't think he is the most interesting buu tho. Someone stated that he is a pure maniac while the other buus represent other traits. I would agree with this. I think super buu is the most interesting villian, had the most forms, gave the Z fighters the most trouble (in his various forms, not the base super buu form), and has not been made into a good figure yet! Kid buu would be a boring figure. He's be little and flimsy and similiar to every other kid buu ever made. Super buu though would be much more fun to pose up against the other figures. He could come with some AWESOME effects too, even though some of these could come with other buus too: 1. Large screaming face head/effect for the moment when super buu screamed his way out of the hyperbolic time chamber 2. A or a couple of really long "skretched" arms with stands to hold them up. perhaps these arms could still have some articulation if not the same articulation as the normal arms.
3. An "effect" of buu rolled up in a ball. You know, where he pulled his legs up over his shoulders from behind and flew around at people trying to smash opponents. 4. Steam effect. The steam buu left off when he flexed and got mad. 5. A large "wall" of "buu slime" that popped up around the z fighters to absorb them.
Super buu could be an awesome figure with many faces and hands. As my list shows he has a lot of opportunities for effects too. There are probably more that would be made too. Can you guys think of any? There have been several figure lines that have included a stupid cookie alone. I do not think a single cookie or piece of chocolate would be a good accessory unless it came with an accompanying turn-to-candy beam with a flipped forward head tentacle. Maybe this would also have its own chewing chocolate face with some chocolate dribbles on the chin and a hand with a bitten piece of chocolate. If they would go the buu and candy route I think they would have to give us the beam, face, and hand for me to be excited. We've seen the candy sort of thing before. Nevertheless, super buu would be the BIG character from the Buu saga who I would REALLY love to see. Gotenks, Gotenks Buu, mystic Gohan, majin vegeta, and/or majin saga (no armor) vegeta would REALLY excite me.
I think the Buu saga is awesome. More interesting than the cell saga by far and more intense than the saiyan crap. The only thing that may beat it in the DBZ series is the Frieza stuff and if so not by much. Of course, these are just my opinions. I don't know why people hate on the Buu saga. I think it's deeper than the other sagas and more intense. It deserves the attention in the figuarts line that all the other sagas get.

The Buu saga isn't bad. Has a few moments that rank among the best in the series....Majin Vegeta, Ultimate Gohan, SS3 transformation, and Vegito's emergence. But to call the Saiyan saga crap is just plain wrong. It's your opinion, but the explanation is biased. Saiyan Saga has its moments too, but generally speaking, the Frieza Saga and Cell Saga are liked the most among fans.
As for the figure, I agree completely. Super Buu would make a great SHF figure, better than Kid Buu.
