How are you guys loving dat Broly? huh, huh? best figure. easy. its my grail. im so glad i got into the line in time to get this guy for retail price I finally took him out of the box last night, good lawd They did an excellent job on his sculpting and such. Out of the 4 S.H. FA DBZ characters I have, he's hands down the best. Also, glad I found this forum. It kept me well informed on what stores had Broly early (before Amazon) at a decent price. I'm looking forward to the Gohan, Vegito, Buu and SDCC exclusive adventures coming up with you guys.

I agree with m5 about the buying to resell heck if I would have had a few grand to put t into buying a bunch of brolys to resell I would have done the same and anyone on here that wouldn't have done the same much just be loaded lol because he's going to go up and fast this time next year he'll be going for $200+ I think.

I just started buying figuarts in September. I had no idea the line existed before then. I had to purchase all the older releases for a premium. I didn't see anyone willing to sell me a ssj vegeta or trunks or any of the others for a reasonable price. The only one looking out for me is me. So I don't care what you guys think when I start buying the new releases in bulk to make a little profit. And to be honest, I could have easily pre-ordered 100's of brolys if I wanted to. So 20 is no big deal imo.

This especially goes for highly sought-after items when others are still struggling to acquire said item. The toy collecting community frowns on "scalping" in general. This post isn't meant to vilify you in any way, I'm just letting you know what sort of reactions you're going to receive when you openly show and speak about what you intend to resell.

My first Broly arrived today! First thing I noticed when pulling him out of the brown shipper sleeve from Tamashii, is that lord he looks amazing in box. I'm glad I'm buying a second to leave misb.

I'm sorry but anyone who knew about this figure and did not secure one has to blame themselves. There is no reason for them to be struggling to acquire one especially since they have been readily available to order for nearly 6 months. Generally, I rather make the money to afford everything I want when I want it instead of sitting around hoping to catch a deal that may never come. See my philosophy is to spend my time making dollars unlike many people in this country who spend their time trying to save pennies. I guess everything changes depending on who's point of view you look at things.

I'm all for capitalism, but let's be honest here.. Scalping ruins a hobby like collecting for a lot of people. I pretty much sit on opposite sides. Only because I see how it effects others.
And @ssgod~. You payed a lot of money for figures that have been out for a few years now. You can not compare broly to them, just like you can't compare irwin to figuarts.. You'll make your money. You're going to have to be patient as this figure just released and buyers/collectors are getting smarter due to all the scalping prices.

Lol geez people are making too much of a big deal out of this. its really simple: its your hard earned money right? are you hurting anyone or infringing on the rights of others while buying multiple figures to sell later on? if the answer to this is yes and no, then you have every right on what to do with the figures you buy with the money you earned. dont care if its a 500 dollar crappy irwin goten to a jakks omega shenron or an 5 dollar sdcc goku. i get that its a forum and you wanna share your opinion, and thats fine thats what a forum is for, but theres no need for stupid comments if you dont agree with the opinion of others. but i do agree...they should come up with higher supply for the demand to get rid of this. everyone wins this way Edit. No stupid comments have been made. Thanks.

I don't think anyone is making a big deal out of the subject. The topic was bound to come up as everyone who is collecting the Figuarts line should know by now that the releases are limited in number and broly being a very popular character it should be no surprise that people r going to buy bulky then sit and wait to cash in. I'm not saying it's right or wrong but if there's money to be made why not take advantage of it. I tried to talk my dad into loaning me $2000 back when broly was on sale at toysinthebox for like $55 and I even showed him the prices of the other figures in the line and told him it was a fail proof way to double ur $ in less than a year from the time of purchase but he said he wasn't interested. At that time I should have saved up as much $ as I could to buy as many I could but I didn't and now I could cry. Either way there r going to be tons of people that bought multiples for the specific purpose of reselling him and I'm ok with that. It's an investment and like I said a fail proof one at that pretty much like buying gold but the price in going to go up much quicker lol

well I'm going to buy broly (wtih normal goku and SS goku) this week (I hope that today). after that, I think I'll buy another 2-3 before his price really starts to jump. there's nothing wrong in making some money of this. and there's is nothing wrong to think that it's wrong, also. so everyone should just do whatever they want. if you want to get few of him to resell him in the future, do it. if you want to buy just one for a collection purposes, do it.

Hey folks, first, Merry Christmas to all of you! I have been collecting SHF DBZ starting October 2014 if I remember correctly.. After I decided to collect this line, Android 17 was the first exclusive that came out so I didn't have to pay for all the premium. And price of 17 did not change that much. And I had to pay for all the premiums for all the exclusives...after spending grands, now I have more than two of each character except SDCC Goku and SS Vegeta... Then Broly released in December... When online shops were taking pre-orders, I believe it was somewhere around 58~65. After Broly is officially released in the market, he easily goes over 70s and 80s now... the price of Broly increases very rapidly compared to the price change I had observed over Android 17. Is Broly the fastest increasing in value compared to any SHF DBZ figuarts released previously?
