I love all of your customs, especially that Gohan! It's amazing to see what you did with the base figure. The Yamcha looks spot on, too.
For your shirtless Goku, have you thought about using the Figuarts Kinnikuman for the chest and arms? They're listed as being close in height, so it might work. I was toying with the idea of using it for a Tien custom.
shirtless Goku is on the back burner for a while but yeah I had considered the Kinnikuman but I wasn't too sure how it will scale with Goku... my initial guess was it looks like it might be slightly big even for Tien.. I mean Tien's buff, but Kinnikuman is super buff, like He-Man buff!!
ha, but don't listen to me im just bitter because I had to sculpt Tien's damn arms shoulder and chest!
im honestly not sure how the Kinnikuman will look until someone has them in hand to compare, and i'm sure a lot of people are thinking similarly of using it in someway for DBZ.. I am tempted to order one but ive got to cut down on buying figures (especially ones I might not even use!) so i'm holding out on it.

I think they are both the same height, but yeah...it might be way too buff. Lol. I think I saw someone use the revoltech Kinnikuman for Goku, the older normal sized one not the new mini one. If the price isn't too bad, that could be another option.
if the goku and kinnikuman figures are the same height it will be interesting to see if they work well....
anyway here is the genesis of Chiaotzu
I used a bootleg gohan face to mould onto, but it was 99.9% pointless as it just got lost under way more putty and pretty much accomplished nothing! I could have used a bit of cardboard and it would have done the same job, probably
trying to mould the whole head at first was a no go
so I just did the face
then refined the face
a long way to go but really the face is the most important I suppose
yeah but i'd be shortchanging myself, as thing is the hours put in really arent equal to what i could sensibly ask to charge... e.g if i were to sell Tien i 'd want at the very least $500 to cover the hours i put in, there cant be many people willing to part with that kinda cash.
i think i could do stuff somewhat faster now, but this Chiaotzu is hard because its 99% from scratch, and im trying to articulate it aswell which is a slight pain in the DB's!!!
Yeah, customizing is a labor of love. I once said I'd have to sell my Burter custom for $2000 to feel like I would get paid just "ok" for the amount of work. But you know what? I would much rather have him than $2k, as I feel like the number of hours I put into making him exceeded that by a lot.
exactly Branjita . TBH 2K is probably closer to what i'd want to ask for Tien!! and maybe a grand for Yamcha!!! (not as much work as Tien was) as i said before those two were my first figuarts customs and first projects for years and so they took me ages to do must have been 2 - 3 months... they really were a learning process aswell but i lost count of the hours i put in on them, i think theres at least 3hours on each of the ankle warmers on Tien alone as i sculpted and resculpted them again and again
but thanks to that learning process i can sculpt faster now - thankfully!
well now!- seeing as i seem to be finding less time to put into stuff, ive decided that for now my articulated Chiaotzu is just going to take far too long to finish properly (and i'm not 100% happy with his size - last thing i did was his hip joints and i havent done the legs yet but i'm guesstimating he'd be no shorter than my custom gohans shoulders. which i dont think is too massive and could work for how he was at the end of DB but in DBZ he just seems to be dwarfed by the others in most scenes, therefore i dont want to complete it and not be happy with the size, so the project is a bit in the air at the moment )
and SO i went back to my original plan which was to use the hscf bootlegs body and stick my sculpted head on it - much easier than the other plan!
so thats what i did with a bit of work on the arms, feet and sash plus a new paint job..
