I'm not that surprised by that Branjita, the reason being, with the exception of Broly, who's lack of votes kinda surprises me as well, I usually assume the original DBZ series is more popular than any movie characters. Granted Bardock as for one scene in that series.
Trunks and Goten are a fun little duo, I don't care much for anything post-Cell Games, but I can clearly see why Vegeta and Goku's kids forming a kid-duo would be popular. But Bardock? Just because he's Goku's father? I mean Gotenks actually had quite a role in the series and Trunks is popular all by himself.
I'm not at all asking for a defence or anything, but I'd just like to know if and why anyone would place Bardock in their top 5 wanted Figuarts. Or even higher then a top 5 spot. With so many massively popular characters not made yet, it just blows my mind. I was innitially surprised about Tien & Yamcha's lead as well, but granted they've been around for a long time all the way back to DB and have a long loyal fan base, so I get that . Gotenks, Buu versions, all of that I get.
More likely it'll be a 2 pack of goten and trunks w/ ss heads and a gotenks with ss and ss3 versions.
Well, for what it's worth, Bluefin's poll had G, G, and kT combined into one line on their survey, so that's how I did it, and I assume that is how they'd plan on releasing them since they'd hopefully make them as little tiny child figures instead of making them an inappropriate 14 year old height like they made Gohan.
Gohan was 11 when he fought Cell and 4 and a half years old when Raditz kidnapped him. I don't have a clue how old Goten and Trunks are at any point in the series... I thought they were only like 7 and 8 years old?
I read you wrong Branjita so I removed my previous post, I thought you said Goten & Trunks were 14, but obviously you didn't, my bad.
In any case, yeah if I'm not mistaken Trunks is either 11 or 12 and Goten 8 or 9, Trunks is older in any case, evident by the fact baby Trunks is at least over half a year old when Bulma has him when android 19 and 20 show up.
EDIT: But at the end of the Cell games Goku dies, so him and chichi had to have gotten together before that. So I guess it can't really be much more then one years difference. I'd say they're 8 and 9 then.

Every 5 inch scale company has messed up the size of Goten and Trunks figures. It'd be great if Figuarts was the first to do them justice, but they also messed up with SS Gohan already, as he looks tall enough to be 14 or 15 instead of 11.
Bandai Super Battle Collection Goten and Trunks are a little big, AB's versions are practically the same figures as SBC and the same size, Irwin's were too small, Jakks' were closer but still too small I think.
The figure companies never seem to reference the characters in relation to what size they are next to adult characters.
If we're not gonna split hairs then there's little reason to have problems with Gohan, he was pretty much the size I see him as when I watch the anime.
Also, as we've had this discussion on the sideshow forum too recently, the anime itself is factually inconsistent, so it's a bad bar to measure against. FinForm Frieza for example to me looks bigger almost the entire anime long, but in the few shots that he's aligned with Goku his size is pretty much like the Figuarts version. Some complained about Trunks' size yet he's clearly modelled after his First Appearance where, in the anime, he seems to an inch under Vegeta.
The whole height thing isn't truly doable to get exact imo, the original materials, manga, anime, they're all inconsistent in finer detail.
Obviously Goten is really little and smaller than Trunks and both of 'm are smaller than Cell Games Gohan, so if that's the case with the Figuarts then I'm good.
Oh no, I disagree, SS Gohan is pretty significantly off. He doesn't look like an 11 year old next to his dad, or next to Cell. While the anime and manga are both not perfectly consistent, you can average the viewing experience into how big a character should be (or at least I do that). I corrected him in photoshop awhile back (chin ends at the top of Goku's sash in the unmodified bottom pic, chin ends at the bottom of Goku's sash in the modified top pic if you can't easily see the difference). In real life, it's about the difference of being maybe 6 inches too tall, and IDK about you, but I'm 6 feet tall (183cm), and 6'6" (198cm) is a lot different to me when I see a guy 6'6". Moreover, 6 inches difference is about 3 to 4 years difference in a child's growth pattern (lol... how scientific and nerdy that sounds )
A lot of the other things you referenced, like Future Trunks, are addressed in the pic above as well. Future Trunks is literally not the same scale as Vegeta or Goku. There's no issue of him being too short (which is what some people say), it's just a matter of him not being scaled correctly.
Frieza is a very inconsistent character, however, he was on average probably just a little bit shorter than Vegeta would be if he was bald. The Figuarts one looks right next to Trunks, so he's one of the figures that seems to be off in scale next to Vegeta particularly and Goku too.

I know this sounds really stupid to say without arguments, but I simply disagree with you Branjita. When I watch the anime I pretty much see the Gohan as he was released by figuarts. At least, when he's ssj2 as he even grows a bit because of the transformation (dunno why but the anime clearly shows him doing so). SSJ2 Gohan is a bit taller, or looks that way to me and Figuarts' version looks straight out of the anime to me in comparison to the other saiyans. The only one truly off imo is Cell, Gohan isn't too tall, Cell's too short imo. And too thin. As for Trunks, for a F.A. version, pretty much looks exactly like the anime to me. I don't see the scale issue at all compared to his appearance against Cyborg frieza,
As lazy as it might sound I don't feel like scouring the internet for all kinds of stuff proving my view on this, sorry. I get really tired of it because all that happens is the other party will find a different picturing proving their point and it continues forever because the material, as has been said, is itself inconsistent. Making an average out of what you see is quite subjective, but all I can say is all figuarts are imo pretty much correct, except Piccolo and Cell who're both in different measures too short and in Cell's case too thin as well.
Btw, I'm 6'5 and I was a LOT taller than Gohan when I was 11. I really don't see anything wrong with his height for an 11 year old.
Fine, because I can't stand not putting any effort into it, here, this is about the only image I could find that helps at least a bit and seems straight from the anime:
This looks pretty much like what figuarts has done to me, and knowing that Cell really is too short (that's easy to see comparing him to Goku and Vegeta), I think there's little wrong with Gohan, at least in his buffer ssj2 mode anyway.
