I think that if they won't make the super saiyans all over again, and make some side characters or BD characters, they could be such a good line. I hope to see Imperfect Cell, 2nd form frieza, Super Android 13, Janemba and some more cool characters. other than the regular super saiyans

I REALLY liked him. I'm not to much into the whole super saiyans in every line of DBZ, but I gotta admit this looks AWESOME

I think the topic of Figuarts zero ex didnt require a thread for each figure since there doesn't seem to be much of hype for the figures in the forum. This one would suffice in my opinion.
I for one am very excited about this line. When I first saw the goku, I thought that we didnt need extra large statues. But later as I saw how amazing he was executed in terms of quality and as I saw how awesome trunks and buu looked like I was very thrilled to get these figures. How I see these figures is if I one day decide that I've grown out of collecting and sell all my figures, Figuarts ZERO EX are the ones I'll keep as the ultimate representation of my figure collecting days.

iami2eapei2 While I appreciate the topics, we usually wait on an official release date before we make an official discussion topic on a specific Figuart. For now, I've merged them into the main EX topic.

My opinion on the Figuarts ZERO EX seems to be interesting, they seem to be more on scale with the Master Stars Piece figures and they are highly detailed. I was concerned for awhile that these would put an end to the Figuarts ZERO line but after speaking with other people they stated that they didn't think that would happen because from what I hear these are going to be very expensive and not everyone will be able to afford them and will want a cheaper option--the Figuarts ZERO line. Anyways, I look forward to seeing what characters they release for this new line and depending on who they are I may buy a couple of them.

If they can keep the same quality we're seeing in these prototypes with the final products, then they definitely have some winners in this line. Every one of the figures they've shown looks ridiculously awesome and extremely well done. The sculpts are quite accurate (except for Goku's "shorter" SSJ3 hair) and have some nice subtle shading that bring out the fine details and sculpting.

Any information of when the preorders are going to be available for that Trunks figure? Looks so amazing, best dragon ball figure i've seen.

These new ex figures are definitely larger then master stars piece. These are about 12 inches while i believe master stars piece are about 9 inches tall. This shouldnt intervene at all with the figuarts zero line because for the scale and price range. To be honest these are pretty inexpensive compared to the resin chinese statues that are similar in size. Those run anywhere from 150-400$ with shipping. These are right under 100 and with amazing quality!
