I wouldn't do that redstar. In 2 years goku will probably be much more expensive. It would be better to buy them now when they are at their cheapest in my opinion. Maybe, but need not be! I prefer anyway other figures at the moment (Scultures, Figuarts Zero, Ichiban Kuji and at the moment also the DXF), I would have anyway no place in the display cases or elsewhere. They're also quite large (30 cm and so). Then I prefer buy 3-4 Scultures instead a Figuarts Zero EX. Everything can not collect it. So much space and money, I have not. If I will never buy this line, it will certainly publish new lines in 2-3 years! I like your optimism

I wonder how "creative" this line is going to get with the poses. Are we going to get mostly the stand straight up stuff we're seeing here? Or are they going to diversify and maybe we'll get some active poses like we see with Figuarts ZERO and SCultures? It's too early to tell. The Bandai/Tamashii representative said they're going to create a survey, either once Super Saiyan 3 Goku has been released or when all three of them have been, I can't remember which. The interviewer asked for a Father/Son Kamehameha and the representative said that it was "now a consideration for the survey." So I would voice your opinion to them on Facebook or Twitter and let them know what's demanded because they seem to really care what we, the consumers, want to see.

I have huge expectations with this line. It's gonna be amazing.

Awesome! Nice of them to show the figurine with other similar Figuarts to show the sense of scale. I think he looks EXCELLENT and I can get by the slightly shorter SSJ3 hair.
Though I think it's weird they went with this "floaty" pose. I understand they were going for SSJ3 Goku's first appearance but the little clear platform "lifts" really stand out. I wouldn't get the sense he was flying unless I saw it from a distance.
But overall an awesome piece. I'm really looking forward to this line.

Well me too bardoon but unfortunately I don't think this line will live long (I even have doubts about trunks and buu). So far the preorders of the figure aren't very good. The tamashii website still has him for preorder which is really rare to find since he was announced like 4 months ago. This makes me think that he won't be a good seller.

I also believe that it will not be as many figures, and if so, I do not think I would buy so many, because of lack of space! Since I can equal all HQ DX and Scultures throw away for half of the Figuarts Zero EX. Since I prefer to buy many DXF as a Zero EX. Maybe one or the other, let's see.

It's difficult for customers who normally pay around $20-$50 for figures and figurine/statues to suddenly make a HUGE jump to close to $100. I know the pain, I collect Hot Toys and remember when they first were around $100-$125 and now they're all around $200+. It really narrows down your customers once you start jacking the price up on certain items. Only the future will tell!

@redstar77 Im not sure which one I'll like more. We can only tell when June comes and we have both in hand I think they're both the same scale, what do you think? Bardoon oh man even I have a problem spending this much money on a figure. Having to collect s.h figuarts and figuarts zero makes me pay for figures nearly every month which is somewhat a financial burden, so them coming up with a masterpiece line is just too much As long as between every Zero EX release there is like 4 months I don't think I'll have a problem.

Bardoon Exactly, I'm not going to spend $400 on a Hot Toys Hulk. Are you on the Sideshow Freaks Board? A lot of speculation and concern is going on about how much the Hulkbuster Iron Man armor is going to cost. Some people think it might be the first HT figure to get close to $1000 MSRP.
