Just caught up on some of these posts and damn some of you need to stop acting like children. This thread will be closed if this continues on. Can we stop arguing and get back on topic?

Yeah I think this thread has been helpful well prior to the arguing. bbarta89 I'm glad you got it I hope you enjoy. As for everyone elses opinion and input I appreciate that as well. I am not a 12 year old with no money as most aren't kids on this forum as a thread already proved this. I can most certainly afford this figure and to be honest I would have purchased it already if not for the hints of its release as the SDCC which people in forum so graciously informed us all of the possibility. This will most likely save me several hundreds of dollars. If it doesn't end up being the SDCC exclusive ok so I may pay what 100 dollars more then its currently high price? But if it is the SDCC exclusive I will pay what 500-600 dollars less for it? I mean thats too much less to ignore even for someone with deep pockets. Especially since mexico goku price will most certainly decline due to it being SDCC as well(if it is). Also keep in mind that all I have said is only "my" point of view.
I just want to thank all for their inputs because of this I was able to make a educated decision/guess when to buy this goku. bbarta89 maybe you do not appreciate others opinion since it makes you regret your purchase (only guessing)? I say don't worry about it man just enjoy your goku whether its SDCC or not. If you end up losing some money over buying the mexico goku as opposed to sdcc then who cares? Its very little money in the long run and mexico goku will be 100% likely to reach that price point again.
I am new to this forum and to be honest I'm liking the people and wealth of information I have learned about DBZ news past and present!

And please stop clogging up the thread by double posting, there's an "EDIT" button for a reason!
Anyways, I'll be surprised if this guy isn't the SDCC exclusive. I don't think they intended for only 500 to be sold. The demand for this figure is there, so I think they're going to capitalize on it. However, if Mexi-Goku isn't the exclusive and there are just some extra at SDCC set aside (in addition to another exclusive), the question is how many will there be?

Well I am, i'm on topic, never was away as i've asked certain question to detour from all this arguing of how to spend your money, how the other one is like showing off and such. Like honestly my concern is that if the MexiGoku is the SDCC exclusive or will be available at SDCC, will those on ebay try to sell it for what the MexiGoku is going for on ebay. As there are several sellers who actually think just because its a popular character/figure and as they've seen similar figures sell for a certain amount, they instantly think that its the same. Like say you wanted a SH Figuarts Trunks, and you found one online for $325 but just for the figure, no box, no accessories. But yet the seller wants $325 as thats what hes seen it for. I hate it when sellers do that! I'm sure some sellers are going to try it but I hope it doesn't catch on with other sellers and join in on it, thus increasing the price. Someone here said that it won't happen, but time to time i've seen it happen.

That's my feeling.

Five seems like the most reasonable number. When you get right down to it, five is the only thing that really matters.

This tread has helped me make my educated decision too, like wait for SDCC = saved money. Not at SDCC = have to search and negociate for cheaper price of MexiGoku. lol! I could also buy one off of ebay right now, but if I have a oppertunity to save, i'll take the oppertunity.

Does anyone think that if its avaliable in either exclusive or non exclusive at SDCC, what do you think the prices will go for on ebay? Like will people try to sell it as the MexiGoku prices? Just because its exactly as the MexiGoku like contants and paint but only difference is the box. the SDCC version shouldnt go above 200.. the Mexican box version will stay at around 500-800 there are mint in box collectors and figure collectors

Well actually I just posted it as a joke... Because it won't be an exclusive since it is was already an exclusive and it being rereleased makes it not exclusive at all... would just like to say that isn't really how it would work...figures tend to be produced in one production run. When the SDCC is revealed it won't be a matter of them releasing the Mexico exclusive again (giving the figure another production run), but getting the portion of the run with the SDCC packages out to San Diego. chances are this is just the SDCC exclusive being extended to another region, which as I've said before, can be nothing but a good thing. and, as other people have said, the Galeria exclusive will still be exclusive just because of the box. Major difference? No, but there are certainly collectors out there that will have to have the box, so the Galeria version is still technically an exclusive.

That's my feeling. I don't think they'll have just five MexiGokus there. I say they'll have more than that. 500 sold because thats all they had in stock for the event in Mexico. Which is why it sold out. Companies of their product never want left overs, they never do, that I can gurantee. As it means more effort, time, and money has to go into selling the left overs, which causes the company more money. They always hope for a sell out. In this case they succeeded.

Which event got the reboxed other half of production run on the sdcc exclusive 2014 Vegeta? My point was it hasn't been done before and the Vegeta has the same marking on the box but sdcc 2014 instead of galeria 2015... So up until now if it is the same figure, they weren't talking about the box.

I didn't say I regret my purchase, how could I, I've gotten the best deal so far on it. Which makes me curious to know... How many people including yourself would buy a mexi goku for $475 right now, not for resale but to keep. Are you talking about the price you'd pay for it currently at $800-1000 or would you take the risk if the sdcc will be 2-300 or not come out at all. Serious question just wondering if it was in your face right now what would all do?

Not on ebay of course but through connections I have, and just simple negociating.
