Its not a matter of "if" it will see a larger release but "when".
That's why I'm not worried about the current pricing shenanigans, which I totally expected to happen. They're trying to sell them for as much as possible and as quickly as possible.
Really, I'm just excited that we're more than likely to be getting a Goku with those gi colors. I can wait for the normal packaging version, whether it be the SDCC exclusive or as a standard release dubbed "Son Gokou v.2". It will happen.

If it's a regular release it may not have the anime accurate colors and just have manga coloring. I'd prefer it to be the SDCC since it's pretty much guaranteed to have the anime colors since the anime is the main Dragonball medium in the U.S. (and most of the fanbase all over the world). I have no doubt we'll see this Goku again but I'm personally hoping for SDCC.

There's an add on eBay (couldn't get the link) telling buyers not to pay the inflated prices... he/she must have been real disappointed to post that

The sad part is these idiots wont listen to him. They have the money to spend, so they don't care.

It would be hysterical if his auction got pushed up to $500

My guess is that the guy is just jealous or a sore loser that he can't afford the figure, so hes trying to brag to everyone that the listing are scams. Did the guy ever think that maybe theyre actual new ebayers with no experience in bidding and stupidly think that being the top bidder actually wins you the figure? Its the scalper for setting the price at a high price and the dumb bidders increasing the price.

I really don't get this, people can do what they want with their money. I'm sorry but you aren't some white knight saving the world, you are just an adult complaining about toys on the internet...

First post here. I couldn't help it. It's already past 50 USD for a PRINTED PICTURE, people need to learn to read, I understand the excitement, but seriously. Someone is going to be very disappointed.
"IF YOU BID ON THIS LISTING AND WIN I WILL SEND YOU A THE PICTURE OF GOKU FROM MY PRINTER THAT WAS USED IN THE LISTING TO YOUR ADDRESS NO RETURNS."

Aww, I just checked and it's back at $1. All the other bids were retracted.

I don't see why you would say that he is jealous or a sore loser... It's odd to see such a defence of scalpers from a new member, I really can't fathom how you can honestly believe that multiple bidders with ZERO feedback are not shill bids. I'm sorry if I sound like a jerk here, but I never would have expected to read an opinion like this on these boards. Usually people here are all supportive of others in the collecting community. EDIT: This is almost a guarantee to be this years SDCC exclusive, so I don't think we have to worry at all. Soon a ton of us will be paying around 120$ for this guy ahha

I don't even care about it. Let these morons pay $500+ for a Mexican flag box. We'll all get ours for significantly cheaper next month. People have to learn the hard way.

EDIT: This is almost a guarantee to be this years SDCC exclusive, so I don't think we have to worry at all. Soon a ton of us will be paying around 120$ for this guy ahha I'm a new memeber yeah, so what of it? Doesn't mean I have no opinion. But you must of not experienced several different types of auctions other than just plain ebay. I've been/participated in several different types of auctions, from ebay, live Japanese auctions, car auctions, antique auctions and so on. You'd be surprised what some people would say or do just because they don't get the thing they want/wanted. They ruin it for others and the seller just because they lost the auction and can't afford it. I also meant that those with 0 feedback/rank must be new to bidding and how it works and is causing all the prices to go up, as we just seen people bid on the listing that is meant to warn people, no figure to be won, and yet people still tried to bid. Again, unexperienced bidding. Although two of the bids that were retracted have a higher feedback than 0, now those kinda surprises me as any would know to read and understand the listings discription first, but there are several many cases where children or teens use their parents account to bid, making bid mistakes as they don't understand the process of how it works. I'm not on the scalpers side, as I hate on what they do as it affects me as a collector too, but given that this is a popular item, people are going to try to jump in on it on any chance, thus the 0 feedback ebayers can be just unexperienced bidders, joined ebay just to get the figure, thinking that by just being the top bidder makes you the winner when the time runs out, so they bid high while theres 3-6 days till it closes, while a experiecned bidder knows that by doing that your only increasing the price on yourself, thus reducing your chance of getting it. The scalper set the start price at a already high amount, and its the bidders that driving up the price. I'm supportive of the collecting community, but sometimes some in the community just jump to conclusions instead of understanding why. Like in this case you thought that I was supporting the scalpers.
With what proof can you guarantee that the Mexico Goku will be this years SDCC exclusive? If you have no solid evidence, then we can still be worried about this. I hope it is this eyars SDCC exclusive, but then again it cannot be it.
