futureztrunks67 Lead with Masked Saiyan instead. Or see what movie heroes category cards you have and build a crummy team. My team is crummy, and I have no problem defeating all of the stages of the story event over and over and over. When selecting your friend, filter based on Movie Heroes and PHY and just select LR Gogeta as your friend. BTW, if you want my 3rd account, you're welcome to have it. It seems like it's probably a lot better than yours. I'd be happy to give it to you. Nobody is buying it on ebay for some reason.
I spent $23 on my main account (since when did stones cost tax?) on stones and did my 7th multi on Broly's banner and then my free one, and on the free one I got a PHY SS Broly dupe, so that was cool. I really want AGI Broly to be honest. Sucks that I don't have him on any of the 3 accounts. Has anyone here gotten him yet?
I just discovered you can save yourself a lot of hassle increasing the SA of EZA SSB Vegeta and SSB Goku. You can do it kind of like the old way we did super strikes. Just make one SSB Vegeta SA10/15 via EZA awakenings and then train it against a SSR SSB Vegeta SA5. It works just fine and doesn't take as many medals! Only takes 20!
I've seen people complaining on Facebook about not getting him after hundreds of stones. I'm thankful I got him without much trouble. I am just going to focus on getting AGI Broly from now on on my main account (assuming I am able to farm more stones somehow). I'm done doing purchases...
I couldn't be more thrilled (well, I could be... with some dupes! But...) I got AGI Broly from one of the multis I did with the 100 stones they gave us this morning on my main account! So I think I officially have everything from the banners I really wanted on my main account.
My alt account only has PHY SS Broly and INT Paragus. Nothing else worthwhile.
My 3rd account doesn't have any of these units I don't think.
Also, I didn't know Broly and Gogeta had different names from the older units. You can use the new Gogeta on a team with STR or INT Gogeta and can use the new Broly with some of the older "Legendary Super Saiyan Broly" cards. Pretty awesome.
I only have one round of stones left, and it's going to the Broly banner. I've rainbows the SSG Vegeta and I have a bottom right path duped SSG Goku to show for my troubles. I've never gone that deep into a banner before.
No news for me, except I used all my stamina yesterday trying to farm awakening medals for LR AGI Trunks. I'm about 150 away, so I might be able to finish him next Sunday and see if I can conquer Hybrid Saiyans SBR.
Got an AGI Broly dupe on my main account because I impulsively bought the $33 stone pack. The Gogeta rates must not be very good. I don't have a single friend on any account so far using a rainbowed one.
Defeating 2019 movie Broly is quite a task, even with AGI Gogeta as a leader. Why? Because he has a habit of super attacking you for over 200,000 and then his regular hits hurt for a lot too. I have been using these items in the first round of him being shirtless (2nd turn of being PHY I believe): Shamo, Bulma in skirt, Future Bulma, and Icarus. I tend to go through 1 or 2 of these items before that, as well.
Without him as a leader on my alt account, I have been leading with TEQ SSB Vegito with either a TEQ SSB Vegito friend, or AGI SS Goku friend. Everybody else on the team is a Movie Heroes character that is pushed far through hidden potential.
Other than that, I'm disappointed to note that I don't have a single one of the new Super-type characters from the banner on my alt account. It's basically not even necessary for me to fight SSB Gogeta. I don't want to buy more stones and I only have 3 stones, so I guess that's just how this is going to unfold for this account. I do have on my main account, SSG Vegeta with 1 dupe path open and I gotta say, he isn't as good on the team as many older units. His passive implies he'll guard attacks sometimes, but I've never witnessed him taking less damage to a single attack.
I bought $1 worth of stones on my main and was able to do the last paid multi and the free multi on the Broly banner. I got a 2nd dupe of AGI Broly! Nothing else interesting. Something like my 6th dupe of Metal Cooler.
Also, even though INT Paragus and Broly can't dokkan to LR yet, I gotta say, the card sure is weak. Entertaining SA just like the movie (Paragus orders Broly to attack), but the card has pretty low defense and doesn't hit very hard either. Doesn't link for ki with PHY Broly very well. But PHY Broly doesn't need ki... so that's nice. I don't know if he even has regular punching attacks... his passive makes him have enough ki to super attack every time without even picking up orbs... the PHY Broly card is a little too good. I hit SSB Gogeta with 5.6 million damage... That SSB Gogeta event is so easy with 2 PHY Broly cards that it is laughable.
We had a data download this morning. Lots of great dokkan awakenings and stuff coming.
INT Pasta is purchased from Baba's shop with blood rubies you collect from the upcoming event. She's actually really good because of her passive, but as you can guess, her stats aren't amazing, even if you rainbow her. She's still pretty excellent though, She has good links for being on a Peppy Gals team as well as a Dragon Ball Seekers team.
A farmable AGI kid Goku. This card will become an LR in the future, so it's important that you SA10 him and open all 4 paths. Is he a good card currently? Nope, not really. He'll eventually awaken into LR Goku with Arale (from Dr. Slump). That dokkan isn't available in Japan yet, but it was shown in V-jump. link
Here's what's coming March 4th or 5th... if you already beat the Peppy Gals SBR you probably don't care about this upcoming banner.
PHY kid Chi Chi comes from a banner and is a strange card. She basically hits really hard, but if she gets hit, she doesn't hit as hard anymore. She's very strangely not in a category at all. I don't see any reason to try to get her.
INT Videl gets a dokkan and she becomes great.
STR Pan gets a dokkan and she becomes great.
AGI Mai gets a dokkan and she becomes great.
The already entertainingly great nuker and tank TEQ Android 18 gets a dokkan and she becomes ever greater. I love this card, I only wish it was easier to supply her ki on an Extreme TEQ team. Not worth rainbowing her unless you really need her, and you probably don't. You'll probably have the other TEQ Android 18 on your team instead... the orb changer from DB Super.
STR Ribrianne gets a dokkan and she becomes better. Her leader skill increases a little bit, she heals a bit more, and she hits a bit harder.
INT Brianne de Chateau is introduced to the game, is a banner unit, and she is the best Peppy Gals leader currently. She has no dokkan yet either, so she'll only get better in the future. She's a great card and worth getting if you like using Peppy Gals as a team. Hopefully her awakening in the future isn't Ribrianne so a Ribrianne card can still be used on her team. But also, just so we get to keep the cute green haired Brianne. I think that's incredibly unlikely, unless they make her into a transforming unit, which is possible, since she's in the Transformation Boost category. I really hope they do that.
LR INT SS Vegeta is also introduced. He's pretty good, and he's from a Prime Battle just like LR Future Trunks. If you have absolutely nothing to do in the game right now, go ahead and stock up on TEQ Vegetas right now so you can SA10 him immediately without any particular effort. The drop rate from his event is 50% though, so it will probably only take 2 stamina bars worth of attempts to SA10 him I assume.
STR Gogeta will get his EZA
AGL Kid Buu will get his EZA
TEQ Bulma, INT Raditz, and the Great Saiyaman events are returning. Hopefully the Raditz event returning doesn't signify another tournament is coming up. I'm still burnt out from the last one only being a month apart from the miserable Christmas one.
They gave us 50 free stones late last night, which was nice, since there was less than 12 hours left on the banner. On my alt, that gave me enough to do the last paid multi and the free one. I got a Kefla dupe, which made me happy, so I used it to open the bottom right path on the SS Kefla I kept for Peppy Gals SBR. So now I have a SS2 Kefla with bottom right and top left, and a SS Kefla with bottom right. Do I have SSB Gogeta? Nope.
On my main account, I was like "well, I'm 3 multis away from a free summon, so I might as well just skip using these." But then I figured what the hfil and I used them. I got the worst multi I've seen in a very, very long time. Look at this terrible atrocity:
That was upsetting.
------------------------------------------ In other news, I finished the AGI LR SS Future Trunks, so I attempted Hybrid Saiyans SBR and actually won. I didn't even have a very good friend.
STR Ultimate Gohan, bottom right, SA10 AGI LR SS Future Trunks, rainbowed, SA20 STR EZA SS Goten, rainbowed, SA15 AGI EZA SS Gohan, rainbowed, SA15 STR Bee Pan, rainbowed, SA10 INT LR SS2 Gohan, no dupes, SA20 Friend: STR Ultimate Gohan, bottom right, SA10
Items: the typical icarus, whis, android 8, princess snake
Strategy: The first battle is actually the worst, because there are 5 enemies who won't stop hitting you. This team has several partial tanks, which is good, but SS Goten won't tank until at least 2 super attacks have been fired. If you have Ultimate Gohan, Bee Pan, LR Trunks (a combination of at least 2) you can try not using an item on the first turn and see how well they can tank. You might get lucky and barely take any damage at all... or it might be game over... If you aren't that lucky or confident, play icarus or whis on the first turn. SS Goten is the MVP, because after a couple super attacks, he ends up tanking, and he always orb changes. I tried to keep him on every other rotation, but it wasn't essential. Ultimate Gohan is the worst, he sometimes tanks, he doesn't link for ki with anybody but LR SS2 Gohan, and he just generally sucks and is terrible. He's not dependable as a tank and he almost never gets to super attack (though SS Goten's passive (orb changing) is helpful for that). AGI SS Gohan actually isn't very good at all, but being rainbowed and an EZA unit, his high hp make him (in my case) very worthy of the team. He does ok damage, takes hits ok, and just in general does things ok. Bee Pan is another MVP, because her tanking is fairly often and she will heal your team. When possible, always target a PHY enemy with her, so you can get the maximum heal she can muster. Try to keep her on every other rotation. If you're super lucky, she'll stun an enemy after super attacking them. I had this happen 3 or 4 times! LR AGI SS Trunks is fantastic as long as you have 2 enemies alive. He has super high defense, does great damage, and is just overall wonderful. If you defeat 1 and leave the other one at full health, Trunks' passive isn't going to help you much, so I don't recommend doing that. Excluding the final round, you'll want to leave the 2nd to last enemy at low health, just so Trunks' passive works. If you have 2 enemies alive, try to keep him on every other turn. LR SS2 Gohan can't take hits as well as the other team members, but even without dupes, he hits a bit harder than most of them. I left him as a floater every single turn except when I needed him to take a hits from TEQ Nappa in fight #2. Once your icarus or whis runs out, you might want to play another icarus depending on how many enemies are still alive. If 4 or 5 are alive, use it. If 3, figure out if you want to risk it. But hopefully you won't have to heal... but if you do, use Android 8 and only 1 of them. The cool thing about this team, is that after a few turns, you won't need to use items anymore. With 5 semi-tanks on the team, you pretty much just try to keep AGI SS Gohan and INT LR SS2 Gohan from having to take too many hits, even if it messes up your rotations. The final fight is against PHY SS Broly and PHY Paragus, so it's great that there's 4 STR characters on the team and only 1 INT. I took Paragus out first and tried to get Pan to stun Broly (which actually worked at least 1 or 2 times). Given LR SS2 Gohan being weak to these guys, I thought it wise to sacrifice LR AGI Trunks' passive just to help place INT SS2 Gohan so he wouldn't have to take very many hits.
Something else that helped in this, is that this team is so darn slow (probably mostly because Ultimate Gohan hardly ever super attacks), and the enemies are a little less strong than many of the other SBRs (so it isn't as essential to defeat them quickly), so I ended up getting dokkan mode twice. Once in the first round against only 1 nearly dead enemy URGGGGGGGGH! But also once in the final round. That helped a little bit. Overall, I believe this SBR is impossible without a rainbowed AGI LR Future Trunks and a STR EZA SS Goten with a few dupe paths open and completed. Like you may have noticed above, my friend wasn't a highly upgraded Ultimate Gohan, and I still won. Granted, I had some of the most desirable units and they were rainbowed, but still, I honestly didn't have all the best units people suggest for this. Most guides I have seen don't even suggest using Bee Pan. Like the one below:
Oh, and I have PHY SS Gotenks, but only with the bottom right path unlocked (because I wasn't smart enough to rainbow him when they gave us tokens to unlock paths) and that little guy can't take a hit well at all. He was so unworthy of my team because of his inability to take a hit, that he wasn't even remotely useful. Don't have him on your team unless yours is way more upgraded than mine. Also, keep in mind that if you will be using AGI LR Future Trunks (which you should be), you can't use STR Future Trunks, so save your orbs. Also, I don't know why that recommends PHY SS3 Gotenks, because he is a major liability for 7 turns. PHY Pan would probably be useful if rainbowed. She would help increase the defense of everybody. It's a shame she doesn't provide 2 ki with her passive though, or I'd have used her.
I attempted Realm of Gods SBR with my alt account, and it is super difficult when your STR Rose, AGI Rose, and PHY Black don't have any dupes and can't be used on the team. I have 1 majorly weak link on this team no matter who I choose. I can't win it. I'll eventually get to try it with the new STR SSG Vegeta once I dokkan him, but I don't think I have any dupes in him, so he might not help at all. This SBR is best attempted with a mix of Super and Extreme because the enemies are a mix, and passives (like STR Rose's) help a lot.
Team: INT UI Goku, 2 dupes (I think) TEQ SSB Vegito 2 dupes or STR LR SSB Vegito rainbowed INT SSG Goku, rainbowed INT SSB Vegeta, rainbowed AGI SSBKK Goku, 3 dupes (he links with everybody for ki) [insert disappointing option here] Friend: INT UI Goku, rainbowed
The obvious strategy with this SBR is to get your HP low enough that both UI Gokus transform so they can dodge.
I've tried all of these units I have, and they fall short in major areas. PHY Rainbowed Monaka -- low defense and his stats are super, super, super low compared to other options in every single way sadly. What a waste of orbs! TEQ Beerus with I think 3 dupes-- high hp, but his passive never seems to activate since 30% hp is so low (and I keep him in that 3rd slot) and he doesn't link with ki with anyone as far as I could tell. INT Beerus with 1 dupe-- doesn't get to super attack, so he can't build up his defense STR Jiren with 1 dupe-- his stunning passive not showing the enemies stunned (via icons) makes me waste items and he doesn't link well, but he's my best option TEQ Merged Zamasu with 2 dupes-- I don't even try him, because he'll just drag the team down with his passive and he won't link well INT Zamasu with 1 dupe-- he tanks ok, but not good enough... he'd be better with another dupe, but he doesn't link for ki very well (or at all) so he's not going to work out
Units I haven't tried yet...
PHY Kami with 1 dupe-- he's a good support unit, but is he good enough...? I doubt it. Nothing like putting an old Namekian on a team full of only Saiyans... PHY Whis with 1 dupe I think--I think I'd be willing to try this, but with only 1 dupe, I don't think I'd survive. He's not going to link well. PHY Champa with 1 dupe--I don't have him dokkaned yet. Doubt he'll link. TEQ Kaioshin, 4 dupes--I doubt he'll link. STR SSG Goku, 1 dupe--he's at SA1 and I have no Elder Kais, so he's not practical right now when I have a rainbowed INT one. He's ideal, but I don't have the resources.
I don't really have any other options. My best option is likely waiting for TEQ Beerus' EZA because he'd be just fine after that I bet.
Based on www.dokkanbattlebuilder.com/global/card/1w04h Jiren works best when BB with UI Goku, because it's the only way he'll have ki TEQ Kaioshin actually doesn't link well with anybody I'm using, so he can't be useful LR SSB Vegito links better for ki with various units, but TEQ SSB Vegito links better for atk %... and since my TEQ one has at least 2 dupes in him, I think he's more worthy of the team possibly... it would be easier to be sure of that if he had 3 dupes... STR SSG Vegeta is going to be my best choice... so I need to dokkan awaken him... I hope I have a dupe of him... I think I might, but I'm not sure.
By the way, to my shock and horror, I was incorrect about INT Paragus dokkan awakening to LR. I'm surprised by this. I really thought he went to LR since he has Broly with him after his Dokkan. Apparently he only goes to UR. And sadly, he's a pretty weak unit, even with Broly's help. His defense is EXTREMELY low. His SA is very nice to watch, but doesn't do much, and he is difficult to build a team around since his passive is ""Pure Saiyans" or "Joined Forces" Category allies' Ki +2 and ATK & DEF +40%; ATK +130% when there is a "Pure Saiyans" Category enemy" On a PHY Broly team, that means selecting Pure Saiyans team members in order to get this passive to work. And then Paragus only has like 8000 defense. Which is shocking. Everybody else is at like 70,000 and he's at 8,000. He's apparently very good support for STR EZA Broly though... I'm floored that I was so excited, thinking this was an LR.
AGI Broly is probably my favorite unit in the game. He makes up for his limited ki links by providing himself 1 ki every turn. He gets an additional Def +20% from every attack he does. He gets an additional Atk +20% from every attack he receives. His super attack raises his atk and def by 30% every time he does it. Simply put, he's awesome. Every hit he takes makes him hit harder, and every hit he makes, makes him take less damage. And he hits like a freight train. Mine is often hitting 3 million with a super attack. I wasted $33 hoping to get another dupe of him, but all I managed to get was the last dupes I needed for Champa and INT Android 18 to eventually rainbow them. Disappointing. The gambling addiction feelings hit hard with this one.
I did finally get rid of my 3rd account. Someone bought it on ebay. I'm so glad to not have to hold 2 phones and a tablet while I play anymore. And I didn't want an account with so many great LRs to go to waste. I'm so glad someone is going to get to enjoy it.
The new Gurumes event gave me enough stones to try another pull on the Broly banner. It was just as bad as the other one. I got INT Hit and nothing else, despite the SS3 transformation, and I am pretty sure I have at least 6 Hits right now and he's overall useless.
Speaking of which, I tried out a team led by PHY Champa and a friend with TEQ Hit, and man, that team was rough. It wasn't doing enough damage, and even when my Champa was rainbowed he was only hitting 500k supers most times.
Oh, and my claim that INT Paragus and Broly sucks (particularly with regard to defense) is partially due to them not being in the Full Power or Movie Bosses categories. I didn't realize I couldn't run them on a team led by two PHY Brolys. That really sucks. The perfect place for them, and they can't be run on the team.
I feel your pain. Had enough stones to spare one multi. Double screen crack just to get an Int Gogeta. My 3rd copy after having him rainbowed already. I would have been happier to get the STR Goegeta since I've only ever pulled to since he came out.
I spent my main account's stamina farming Golden Frieza (Broly story event) medals, because my AGI GF is only SA9. Still have some more to get. I am at 46 stones, so I intend on wasting another multi, hoping I can get another copy of AGI Broly, since he's so darn fun to use.
EZA Gogeta is a fun event when your team isn't the best, like mine isn't on my alt. I don't have many AGI Movie Bosses characters and most of the ones I do are only SA1. Using AGI Broly as a friend is better than using AGI Turles as a friend because of Broly's leader skill for the members of my team. Level 30 is very tough for me on this account. I used the 50 stones I accumulated on the SSB Gogeta banner and got more miserable junk and a 2nd dupe for Dypso. That card has limited uses, but with a 2nd dupe, he might be more fun.
Someone on Reddit reviewed all the SSG Goku cards, using leaders from the JP version. They didn't really type anything in the topic unfortunately. So I guess I'll add my commentary. Overall it looks like the STR one is still BB with UI Goku, the AGL one is ok, the INT one is lackluster from missing Fierce Battle, and the TEQ one is pretty much great.
The STR Pan after her dokkan is good, STR Bee Pan is excellent, PHY Pan is good, the little kid AGI Pan we don't have yet from the world tournament is good, and the AGI exclusive banner support AGI Pan is good. Overall, Pan cards are pretty lackluster, and all of these are relatively equal if they are rainbowed as far as damage is concerned, with the exception of Bee Pan being excellent. However, most of these are support cards, so it's disappointing to see the focus solely on atk power and not on whether or not they link well with a team or what they do for a team. For example...
The future little kid AGI Pan needs to be in the first slot to do the most damage because of her passive, however, she isn't really strong enough to be in that slot since that slot has a tendency to receive the most attacks. STR Pan becomes a tank after 1 or 2 super attacks, so she can be worthy of being in the 1st or 2nd slot, however, she actually isn't a support unit. She's a tank unit. PHY Pan is a support unit, but because of her low damage, she isn't really worthy of being in the 1st slot like she needs to be, to help the team the most. AGI support Pan is a support unit, but she doesn't have enough power and defense to be too worthy of the 1st slot like she needs to be, to help the team the most.
