I'm just going to go ahead and say this but people need to stop lying to themselves. The PC Trunks and Vegeta are NOT better than the OG ones. They're just good replacements for those who didn't get into the line from the start. The only PC that could be better than the OG is the upcoming SS3 Goku and possibly Cell in brighter green. All matter of opinion. I like the PC pieces better and so do a lot of my friends. They sold their OG pieces because they didn't want them anymore due to the PC releases. For you to get on here and say people need to stop lying to themselves is absurd. It's a figure, chill out. Sounds like you are mad about their being a Premium Color release of your high dollar figures.

I'd probably be too if I payed ~$200 for a figure then to have a new one released for ~$50.

Besides, even if you think the OG is better and in Trunks case, having more accessories or something: It's still not worth 150 more dollars or however much they are going for right now, I see alot of people taking dump on PC trunks saying that the OG is still worth the huge price due to the lack of a few accessories... I say bulls***, but that's me... It's even more sad when I see some guy who was anticipated for the PC release, and then says ''nah it doesn't come with the other accessories, F it, I'll pay 150 more dollars for the original one because it has the accessories!''
Although I do wish the PC came with the other accessories, lol.

I like the OG Trunks better than the new PCE release of Trunks, but that is due to the hair being different as well as accessories. It's still a great release and I have it on order from Anime-Island. I actually kind of like the new Vegeta better than the original release though.
It isn't a cut and dry thing.

Ignoring price and judging by the figure alone, overall I personally prefer the OG releases. More accessories (in Trunks's case), better looking hair, consistency with the rest of the line, better shading, higher quality appearance, and generally more accurate to the anime.
Btw, I could give two craps about a PC release devaluing a figure I paid good money for. I buy my figures to keep them, not as an investment with dollar signs hovering over it. Imo if you care about the value of the figure, you're collecting for the wrong reasons. Again just my opinion.

I have most OG figures, paid top $$$ to get them and still plan on getting the PC ones. Just means I get more figures to pose!

I have both OGs and PCs and I honestly prefer the OGs because they are more anime accurate and over all THEY ACTUALLY GO WITH THE LINE!!!!! Seriously the PCs stand out like a sour thumb! But I understand the PC are meant especially for those who missed out on the OGs. But those who claim the PCs are better than the OG are just like lieing to themselves, wanting the PCs to better in the minds or something. Look, Bandai/Tamashii NEVER HAD PLANS TO REDO THE SAME FIGURE AGAIN! NONE! The OGs were supposed to be the ONLY ones of Vegeta and Trunks in that form/outfit. But people missed out, complained, complained, complained some more, and they redid the figure again in apparent new form just to settle (shut up) those that missed out. And that's it! The PCs were not meant to replace or be better than the OGs. The PCs are just official substitutes basically. Want a more accurate substitute to the OGs, get the Datong ones!
I say Bandai/Tamashii did a stupid move on doing the PCs, like instead of this stupid recoloring and call this and that, they could of easily released a official Cell Saga Vegeta with accurate boot tips, which would keep the OG Vegeta as the android saga Vegeta. AND DONE! Trunks could of been the manga version with gold here and there on the sword, very lighter jacket and hair color, that would go with the rest of the manga version figures in the line. Keeping the OG Trunks to what it is. AND DONE AGAIN! Problem solved! But nope, they complicated things with these PCs.

They did the PC versions because they want to attract new consumers to the line, I will get the PC versions because they are cheaper than the OG and just like that, I mean the they have both good things. In the end they are doing PC versions for new collectors in the line. Here is the interview about the PC versions with an executive of Bandai Tamashii Nations

LMAO I've been here longer than you have so there's nothing absurd for me saying people need to stop lying to themselves, you only have 7 posts . I actually have all the DBZ Figuarts dude and I started collecting when the line originally started. I'm not mad about the PC releases, although it is annoying for people to keep constantly saying it's better than the OG one, it's just not. I understand tons of people missed out on the OG Figuarts and that's too bad. Most of the DBZ Figuarts were selling for $40 bucks on Amazon for months before they finally sold out, you and others had multiple chances to get them.

Same can be said about new collectors saying the PC ones are better just because they don't want to pay for the OG ones.

^So according to the dude in the video, the PCs are ACTUALLY done for new people, not to those who missed out! LOL!!!!! So there, done! Like I said before PCs are just official substitutes to those who missed out on the original. Want a more accurate figure to the OGs, get the DaTongs!

I'm glad they reissued Trunks and Vegeta (PC versions), because I didn't get In to the line until last year, sadly, picked up Piccolo and at first I didn't like the leg parts they all kinda look a little like they are wearing dippers to me so I started getting the figuarts zero line instead but after Broly then the awesome awaken ssj Goku and they have grown on me so I have been picking them up, I'm not the biggest fan of bootlegs (DaTongs) and only get them for customs but a bootleg is still a bootleg no matter how good it is, but that is what I'd have to buy (because $200-400 for a figure that someone paid $60 for is craziness) if they didn't release these, so I'm just happy for that. sorry for rambling a bit.
