Why is this thread called SSJ Trunks and not Saiyan armored trunks? Because thats most likely what the figure is called. The threads are named after the names Tamashii choose to write on the box. |

The previous Trunks was only called "Trunks" and had both regular & SS heads. With the regular head being the main head and the SS one being an accessory. I guess they don't want to call it "Armored Ver." since it's not another transformation of version of him. It's just the same character wearing different clothes. And since the name "Trunks" was already taken by the previous one, they called it "Super Saiyan Trunks" and made the SS head the main focus and the regular one as an accessory. |

Best damn figure.
It's by no means my favourite form of my favourite character (not that I dislike him), but the sheer quality of the production looks stunning. Love the new hip joint system, love the paint, love the sculpt.

SS 3rd Grade with non-bulky body? While the new head looks amazing, it doesn't fit the body at all.

So this is supposedly gonna be bundled with this figure which is pretty awesome. This is the first time we have a completely new third head on one figure. I can definitely see future Vegeta, Goku, and a Gotenks release doing the same.
