In this thread, we will be discussing anything and everything to do with the S.H. Figuarts World Tour Son Goku (Kaiohken Version). It's OK to go off topic, but let's try and mostly stay on the topic of Son Goku. Thanks!

This one is tempting, since I never managed to get a Mexico Goku, but maybe they will one day make a Goku 2.0 and it will also have a belt instead of a sash. I kind of doubt it though. I'm sure it would come with a sash and just be the SS3 Goku's body.

I'm really excited for this one. Can't believe they actually ship the effect piece with it, what a surprise.

Branjita SSJ3 Goku's body is pretty much what we're gonna be expecting for the inevitable Goku 2.0. Whether he comes with a sash or not is one of its mysteries. Personally, I'd like it if he came with some more smiling expressions, especially for the entire line.

I don't get how this is still an exclusive. Why couldn't this have been a regular-release figure? I mean, if he's exclusive to two conventions within the same country, then how's he still exclusive? Then again, they did this with Freeza saga Goku (kinda sorta) and he's still "exclusive".

I won't be able to afford this, but man oh man, this looks fantastic!

Just picked this up from SDCC. I was panicking because of the mark on the grinning face. Thought it was damaged, but it's on all the figures.

My ? is regarding the bootleg/China knock off version of this Figuarts Son Goku Kaioken figure. Does anyone own one of the bootleg Kaioken Goku figures, and if so, could you please tell me if it's worth buying (i.e. can it be spruced up by the power of hobby to be a worthy display)?? TY!

Here are the only two reviews of it that exist as of this moment in time. Your best bet at getting this is A. Buying the SDCC version (literally nothing about the figure is different, only the box) or B. commissioning someone to customize a base Goku and aura effect you have laying around. The bootleg isn't too great (from what I've seen; though what do I know?): By 5MFR (5 Minute Figure Reviews; apologies for the profane language in the thumbnail) By Samus Customs (I believe it's in Spanish, though you could get a good idea from watching it)

I just got my Kaiohken Goku in (not the World Tour Ver., but hey, it relates to the figure and it's better than getting the WT version because it was cheaper.)

I hate bootlegs and pirated items, but I'm just not spending $100+ on a repaint Goku + belt + aura effect. Thanks, I already saw both of the videos and it made me wish that I was fluent in Spanish. I really hate doing it, but I'm just going to opt for the $28 China bootleg; and then invest some kneadatite, paint, and time into making it look presentable. Anyways, enjoy your Goku and thank you again for the response. Peace.

Well as I don't really support buying bootlegs over the real thing, let us know how the figure turns out I thought of getting one for custom parts.

Hey guys, I'm wondering what the going rate is for this figure. I've seen it for $130, and wondered if this was a good price?
Second question. What are chances of us seeing a Kaioken version of the new Namek Goku?? I don't want to pay over the odds for a v1.0 if an improved version could be around the corner.

The 2.0 namek version was a SDCC too, so that might happen with the kaioken one as well.
