So this came out today. I've been having a lot of fun with it, moreso than I ever did with Dokkan Battle. The roster isn't that unmanageable yet (I started yesterday with a downloaded apk, and I'm only missing a few SR characters.
I downloaded it yesterday and played it about an hour, it seems pretty involved. I don't think I'll have time to play it really. I still prefer Dokkan over it, because it doesn't require button mashing.
They need to make it available for more devices, especially tablets, since the graphics look so good. I can't download it on my brand new Galaxy Tab A (I'm guessing because it has Android version 5.xxxx (which is the latest version) instead of whatever this game apparently requires). And that's a real shame, because I'm much more likely to play it if I can see everything well, instead of trying it on my comparatively small Galaxy S6. I can at least play Dokkan on my new tablet.
I finally had some time to check out this game. The gameplay approach is really cool. Feels innovative for a mobile game and very fitting for the Dragon Ball franchise. I hope they will tweak some mechanics though. The fact that you can basically pull 1 character for free per day is also a nice touch. Let's see how long I can withstand the urge to put some money into it.
People on Facebook complained about PVP and how the match ups are unfair and how once a combo gets started, you can't exit from it (dodge), so it's like instant death. I don't personally like the game much. If it was a turn-based fighting game like Final Fantasy games were/are then I'd be interested in it. Button mashing isn't my type of game. I did enjoy the story and graphics though the three days I did login and play it though.
