Awesome dude!! I just displayed Cell! Very impressed!! I need a display case now.......Saw a Fantastic Terrarium for sale at a local garden centre for £500. Fully lit and everything..........might have to invest!! just a question of curiosity, when you open them are you happier that you did? or at some point have you thought i wish i just kept them in the boxes? me being abox collector just curious to hear insight on people who display them ^)^ There's nothing that makes me happier than open a figuart, play with it for few hours, and then think how I would display it. Makes me go back 10 years to when I used to play with my Jakks figures.

For me it's the next evolution of art, from paper, to animation, to physical 3D representation. I'd love a proper display case with scenery like in the Tamashii Showroom.......but I lack the money and space right now! (or buy in from the wife!! lol)

haha thanks guys! i look at them and want to open them so badly but i just love the box art so much and the complete look when they are in their sealed boxes so i just wanted to hear the different perspective on opening vs keeping them sealed by the way is there any reason that cell has kai written on it and a gold sticker? instead of the silver and dragonball z?

That cell is japanese release with gold toei sticker and kai logo instead z..i noticed japaneae version even changed to their versions logo to z starting with androids. But gold sticker did not change

You can have the box on display without the digure in it. If you keep it in box so it has more value, dont care about it, it will get more expensive anyways just pretend it just borrowed for a very long time then you sell it.

I used to be a display in box kind of guy, but it was mostly due to the figures being in nice boxes, and nicely displayed with them. As I got older I rationalized it as "I don't want to lose the pieces". Now I realize that collecting just to have it hopefully appreciate in worth is a fools errand, and instead I now display them when I can. Storing them in the box when not on display only. Once I get a nice setup and space to show them, I will be using my glass case and posing all my figures together.

Oh nice, I love listening to Daft Punk but never actually did much more research into them other than loving their music.
