Okay guys, because I've been focusing on other stuff, I have yet to begin Figuarts collecting, although I fully intend to eventually. That being said, Frieza has been my favorite Dragon Ball Z villain for roughly fifteen years and counting, so i plan on making him my first Figuarts figure. However, I'm a little torn on which version to get: gold sticker or silver sticker. Silver stickers are easier to find whereas gold stickers seem to me to be a little less common and a tad more expensive. I like the color silver better than gold, however the gold sticker may add a bit more wow factor to my collection. I will be keeping the figure in the package, so the sticker is an integral part of the display value for me. My plight may seem ridiculous or even funny to you guys, but it's deviling me; and I haven't even begun to focus on Figuarts yet! What would you guys do?

Don't believe too much on what people say about the stickers as you're getting the same exact figure. Here in America it's more difficult to get the Gold Sticker but over in Japan it's harder for them to get the American Silver Sticker. Also I have Gold Stickers for my Megaman D Arts figures and always seem to find problems with them such as paint chips or loose joints. I would just go for the regular silver sticker instead.

If you can get a gold Toei for a good price then I would choose that. Just have to remember when you are looking to buy more Figuarts that you will have to find them with the gold sticker too if you want them to match. Also consider if you plan on buying any of the SDCC exclusives they are all silver sticker. In the end it is all up to you which path to go. Since I am a loose collector I never worry as long as the Toei sticker is there in some form so I'm not buying a bootleg

The sticker only denotes which market that specific figure is intended for. No difference whatsoever on the figures themselves.
Gold - Japanese market
Silver - International market.

I've decided to go with the international Silver sticker version for one simple reason: the Japanese boxes have the atrocious Kai logo on them, which I really don't like the looks of. Problem solved!

I would collect silver. Most of my collection is silver, except for Vegetto which has a gold sticker on. Would like to find another Frieza to open...
