Is it sacrilege to do this to a SDCC SS Goku figure? I mean, considering there are so few and all... painted him up nice and pretty!  |

Frankly I've thought about doing it myself many times...the purple wristbands/sash look awful to me.

i got used to the purple. I also notice in a lot of scenes when they power up the wristband and sash look purple. You can also swap the belt from the re issue since ss3 also has a semi purple sash. As for the wristband you would have to repaint them.

The purple doesn't really bother me that much either. You could paint him. Just be carefull because he is so expensive and kinda rare.

It does but it makes me wonder how it affects the value. Maybe not by much since SDCC Goku is still limited.

Honestly, I think it will increase the re-sale value; albiet marginally. It's certainly not going to hurt the price, I mean who likes the purple really? He lasted about five minutes before I decided to re-paint the bands. It's not like I completely destroyed the figure by re-painting it.

So did u just repaint the wrist bands or did u repaint everything that had blue on it? And can u take one more pic of his whole body with his arms at his sides? I agree with u about it making him look better I wasn't the biggest fan of the purple
