I know it's been a while, but I'm finally done with one of my favorite customs so far: Semi Perfect Cell He stands around 11" tall and is a combination of the SCultures BIG Perfect Cell, Apoxi sculpt, aluminum wire, and latex. This figure took a long time to construct but I'm pretty pleased with the result. I will post some WIP pics next to show the progress and how I made him.

Here are some WIP photos of my Semi Perfect Cell: I ended up drilling holes for the aluminum wire to go through, then sealing the non-movable parts with a strong epoxy (Steel Epoxy I think). I then added layers of foam and latex to all of the joints, hands/fingers, upper arms, lower legs, neck, and feet. This allows me to move the figure in just about any position. The "skin" layers were added next, made from a customized mold of the original SCultures Perfect Cell. Basically I painted in the colored balloon latex in to the mold, peeled it out, then stuck it to the foam latex.

Here are some more progress pics: Attachment DeletedI added Apoxie Sculpt (and Apoxie Fix-it) to the hard plastic parts to create the details and added it directly on the latex skin (like for the shoulders and forearms)

I've been wanting to see someone make a Imperfect cell custom for the Figuarts line as there's so many parts readily available, plus I personally like this character along with all the other Dbz villains lol but that's a great looking Imperfect cell second form, given the height I think a Imperfect cell first form would have been much better, more 'cus he is way more creepier and would have looked even better with that semi lean built. All in all well done Cleve5sp, a great addition to your collection, this sure is >>> Imperfectly~Perfect >>> Keep it up!

I've been thinking... Now since you've made Semi Perfect Cell, why not replace the end of that tail with the opening of a beige color balloon? Then after modifying, stretch the end to fit in a Androdi 18 figure and voila! You've got the Dbz scene re-enacted. The first of it's kind figure, creep factor and realism raised to a whole new level!

Yes, I've been trying to figure out a good way to make the tail opening and your balloon idea might work. I'd like to figure out a way to expand and contract it but that might be getting into a whole new kind of engineering.. Thanks Alden!
