I voted for Fat Janemba and Dr. Wheelo as they seem to be the most unique by design out of the choices. There's too many of the others in the selection already.

I voted Shenron and Porunga. It's a must to have both dragons.

Methinks that perhaps this thread should be renamed? We came to a consensus about Monsterarts, right? They only feature monsters from monster movies. Size doesn't really have anything to do with it. The line is called Monsterarts because it features famous monsters from monster properties like Alien, Godzilla, and King Kong. Many of the figures are quite small. If any huge Dragonball characters were to be made, they would still be made in the S.H.Figuarts or Figuarts Zero lines, as they are from an anime. And one that doesn't revolve around monsters.

I went for Janemba and the basic Oozaru.

MonsterArts, while having a big focus on stuff like Godzilla, doesn't automatically exclude other properties including Anime. SH MonsterArts Neon Genesis Evangelion Angels are an example. mecha-guy.blogspot.co.nz/2012/10/shmonsterarts-evangelions-angels-on.htmlI think the topic is fine as long as we all understand the different between Sh Figuarts and SH MonsterArts.

Gonstead. Fair enough. I was unaware of the Evangelion Monsterarts, so I guess I shouldn't mean to exclude all anime (which is not quite what I meant to do). I would definitively consider the Evas to be monsters. And you could definitively argue that Evangelion is a monster show (though many might saw it falls into either the mecha/sci-fi/fantasy genres). As far as I'm aware, though.. there haven't been any cross-series properties, right? I mean, there hasn't been anything featured in both the SHF and Monsterarts lines, right? I'm under the impression that it's one or the other, regardless of size. If a large, "monstrous" character is from a show primarily featured in the SHF, said character would be made in the SHF line, not the monsterarts line, no? I don't know of any overlaps, but correct me if I'm wrong.

They've overlaped D-Arts and Figuarts, but I don't think they've done so with MonsterArts and Figuarts yet.

◄VR►, there's no overlapping. D-Arts was merged into S.H.Figuarts.

MonsterArts have about 35 releases based on Toho Kaijus from the Godzilla series, those are usually scaled one to another according to the Kaijus variable height, but not necessirly remain in-scale while the series progress, since the Kaijus change height between the ears and films (Showa, Heisei, Millennium). Biollante is the biggest release, with Ghidorah and Destroyah following. Early this year Tamashii introduced 4 releases from the Alien franchise (basically 2 molds with an alternate version). King-Kong is based on the 2005 film, yet still the Kaiju appeared in the 1964 Toho film Godzilla vs King-Kong. (so he can be somewhat associated with the Godzilla series) And one very forgettable Evangelion release. This poll illustrate most of the core-collecting demand of the market that are collecting this brand. there is some demand for Daiei Kaijus as well, Gamera, Gayos etc. shma-articulationseries.com/vote-2014.htmlThe same with the Ultraman Kaijus being associated under the Ultra-Act branding, it is the same thing with Dragon Ball associated as SHF. Shenron was exibit with the Dragon Ball Figuarts, we have no reason to associate the db line-up with Monsterarts. Not to mention, the retail price of Biollante, which is 30cm tall, is 220$ before shipping. Would you really pay that for a 30cm tall fully articulated figure of Hildegarn? I can see X-Plus making 40 cm statues of those characters, but I can't see Tamashii making a character like Hildegarn or Janemba, it's pretty silly imo. There are fantastic existing alteratives to many of those characters though; Ichiban Kuji Oozaru Vegeta, Ichiban Kuji Oozaru Gohan, AB Fat Janemba, Ichiban Kuji Shenron, Taki/Toy Festival Porunga. I don't have any of the big ones like Ghidorah or Biollante, but here is a simple comparison

They did do one cross-series thing that I know of: The Mega Man X and Mega Man Classic figures are all D-Arts (except the upcoming Mega Man Zero who is an S.H. Figuarts due to the merger) However one character, Sigma, they said was too large to be made into a properly articulated figure. So, instead they made him as a Figuarts Zero statue, still designed to be displayed next to the D-Arts, just non-poseable. He is the only Mega Man series Figuarts Zero; they haven't made the same characters in both lines like they have in Dragon Ball Z. It's not quite the same thing but it shows that things of this nature can occur.

@m5jagdragonpanzeriv, as always, thank you for your wealth of knowledge. I was unaware of the Ultraman Kaijus. That's proof more than anything that any DBZ monsters would just be featured in the SHF line. I definitively agree about buying those DBZ characters from different figure lines, too. There are so many great options already out there. And most of these characters it would be pointless to articulate, anyway. Wave, I already knew about Sigma. I see what you're trying to say, but I don't think it really shows anything, as all unarticulated Tamashii figures end up in that line. Also, D-Arts and Figuarts were always pretty much the same series. They were merged because of this.

Shenron, Porunga and Oozaru would be great however i feel a big King Yemma with his Desk and all would be amazing to have in figuarts/monster arts! (I don't think they would ever make King Yemma however so given that knowledge i voted for Shenron and Porunga.

I chose hirudegarn form 1, and oozaru (vegeta) although I would also like to see a variety of oozaru's with different saiyan armors.
