That's strange, because I resell the extra bootlegs I buy (they usually come in sets) and I always say they are bootlegs in the title, and I've never, ever gotten harassed by anybody in a message. And that's with doing eBay for over ten years. Looking forward to the Atlas pics! I have what I believe is a full set of DeAgostini and have maybe 5 to 10 Atlas. Well here ya go... Figured I might as well post something since you all have been so cool; I'll have the DeAgostini and comparrison photos up on Monday. When it comes to eBay, I've been doing my thing for about 4 years and most people are cool but... I have dealt with some strange individuals. It's just my luck or something.

Sweet! I can't wait to see these on my computer next week or maybe later today!
My most common problem selling DBZ on eBay is having kids (I guess) make purchases and for whatever reason needing a week to pay me for a purchase usually just over $10 including shipping. Personally, to me, if you can't pay for something immediately, you shouldn't be buying it. The "I can pay you after I get paid on Friday, is that ok?" question gets old.

You're right, and I do agree on that regarding the licensing. However, what if a figure so happens to be 100's of dollars and the only way a fan could afford one is to have a Chinese reproduction? I understand limited availability, collectability, and other factors that influence the initial pricing, but c'mon...it's a little ridiculous sometimes. Also, what if you just like the goofyness of a bootleg's paintjob like these DBZ SBC figures and the sort that come out of Chinatown? If you bought the originals first, I still don't understand the issue. I agree with you too. If the seller is honest, and the buyer knows what they're buying, it's cool. I have plenty of knockoffs, most of which are knockoffs of Banpresto and Bandai stuff, which I knew was bootlegs when I bought 'em. Lots of DWC and Real Works bootlegs, because I didn't feel like spending $10-15+ on little non-articulated figures. I bought a few sets that I didn't know were KOs way back from DealXtreme and DinoDirect, but for the most part, they are pretty good quality. I've bought some terrible quality bootlegs too, lol. For me, I like the figures themselves. If they look cool, I really don't care who made 'em. If there's not a huge price difference, I'll go legit. But for certain things, bootlegs are fine by me. As long as there's no deception involved, it's all good in my book. When people ask about one of my figures, I don't try to pass it off as real if it isn't. I have one of the Golden Oozaru bootlegs from China, which is pretty expensive for the legit version because it's a limited release. Sh!t looks really good for a bootleg imo, and it's something I would have otherwise never gotten most likely. Btw, awesome DeA/Atlas collection! They're one of my favorite sets.

Sorry for the late post! Thanks for that comment Mark; I'll have to include my huge KO real works collection too which features dozens of AF series characters. I actually have only 19 DeAgostini: A few comparisons with the Atlas line: Here is my incomplete Super Guerriers collection: A ton more photos coming soon...

Awesome! Would you mind reviewing which figure you prefer over the other? For example, is the Atlas Vegeta better than the DeAgostini? Or is he too tall, inaccurately painted, or another issue?

Atlas versions (including Vegeta) are better for the most part though sometimes there are slight features/details that I don't care for like Baby's eyes being white with dotted pupils or 17 with his colors and lack of details in the shoe laces. I had to prop the DeAgostini Shenrons against the backing because those molded bases warp and are a pain to work with. I guess it's all a matter of personal taste and how much it matters to you that they are accurately representational to the anime counterpart. I truthfully think they are all awesome! Having both complete sets would mean you not only have different characters, but then you would have like a 1P and 2P color swap of certain ones too.

You might boil a glass measuring cup of water in the microwave for two minutes, take it out, and stick the warped parts of the bases in the water for about 30 seconds. It'll fix those deformities due to poor storage.

Thanks for the tip! Yeah, those came directly from Italy so they were pre-owned. If they had been mine from the get go, would not have gotten to that stage.

Yeah, most of mine have paint rubs on them, some so bad that I partially started repainting some of them ten years ago. But that's just what happens when you have to get something used.

More Mexican KO Figures!
Shenron Dragon (Almost 2 feet long!)
Lots of Light-Ups! The device in their back compartments have 3 settings to change the pattern/effect. Some of these figures such as Oozaru, Cell and SS Goku (3) have been re-released as translucent plastic versions for this new feature.
I find these two Broly and God Goku figures to be the most interesting of the group.
And although I do not care for these newer DBZ movies, these Resurrection F figures really stand out as exceptional display pieces
8"+ Size Dragon Ball GT Line (Gogeta and Goku 4 use similar sculpts) Great Monkey Baby has original paint job in regards to body armor though there are repaint versions out there.
I will be going through my older posts to update some photos and captions with newer ones (such as with the Oozaru now that I have 4 instead of 3) as well as removing some in order to provide better comparison photos such as these:
Raditz and Turles Comparison (Same sculpt, different paint jobs, left hands and heads / almost 9 inches tall!)
Android 16 (Note that the larger has the sculpt of an energy absorbing type)
Omega Shenron (The smaller of the two has a far more sinister look that I really like!)
More to come!
