So any of you guys have an idea about this?? You can read this here: www.tsume-art.com/en/home.php You can buy tickets for this event. Either € 339 or € 99.- (of course also included gifts!) They make lovely resin. In september something about DBZ will be.

I wonder what DBZ statues they'll make. I'm sure that their quality wouldn't be any less than medicos.

Just take a look. If these figures of Tsume look as great as the Goku of the Medicos, then I grab it to me.

If Tsume ever gets to do DBZ statues, which I'm sure they will, there won't be any doubts regarding quality and likeness but most importantly, they won't stop at producing just one statue like Medicos or Proovy.

burdocksan I agree, though I don't think tsume has been that successful with their releases. Many of their statues have been available for order for so long, but they seem to never run out of stock of them. Also, their madara uchiha statue was scheduled to be released in q3 2014 and to this day it still hasn't been released. And to think you have to pay the full price of the figure upfront, makes me sceptic man.

The only deterrent that inhibits anyone from buying Tsume pieces is the price.....in Euros!

What makes you say so? I don't understand why people wouldn't want to buy a figure simply because of the currency they will be charged in.

Nah. I meant for the scale they are done in, they are expensive. Normally, at that price point, you'd have to be a hardcore fan to shell out that much.

Oh I get what you mean now, your'e quite correct, no one would pay $400 for a statue unless they are hardcore fans indeed.

...Or have deep pockets. I was talking to Andrewanimetoys, and he said he could afford to spend retail price of $700 on that 21 inch Colossal Titan statue from this past year. I told him good for him and to go for it. I on the other hand have more important things to do with my money. I have a 4 month old at home. I never understood why resin statues are so much more expensive than PVC ones. Resin is far more fragile than PVC, and the paint job often doesn't look as organic or realistic. I have a 10 inch figure of The Beast from Beauty and the Beast made of resin. He is a tad top heavy, and I pulled the drawer out from my dresser once, and he (being on top) toppled over and his hand broke off. I cried...

You're right, most people wouldn't find paying that much for a figure a very sane choice, that's probably why these companies limit their production to 500 pieces or such.
In my opinion resin does give figures a raw like look, but judging by how fragile it is, let alone the price difference, I'd take PVC over resin any day.
