Hey M5, do you still think he's a waste of plastic, because I'm kinda drooling over here I'm extremely pissed that he's an exclusive though. Goodbye to any potential discounts I thought of getting. FML

Wall I admit that he looks amazing, not too fond of the character though... The thing that I strongly hate about this new line, is that they are marketing it as under the Figuarts name and exploite the brand by false marketing due to the line immense popularity, it is unfair to those who are looking to see the Figuarts line grow with the articulated 1/12 S.H releases, but this have absolutely nothing to do that they add it under the same roof of line-up of the brand.
I am willing to accept the Figuarts Zero since they somewhat of similar scale. But I mean, this could easily have been released under a new Tamashii brand, Bandai, Unifive, Megahouse or Banpresto.

I agree with you on the branding issue. It even worries me that this line might hamper releases for the figuarts zero line which I would hate to happen.
I still don't have a clue if I'd get him or not because of his price tag.

I've always had a strong dislike for that transparent plastic hair look with dragonball Z related merch. With that said, no interest in this. Besides the fact that the hair is too short, statues aren't my forte.

He looks pretty amazing and I was considering on getting him if I liked it more than the Ichiban Kuji one after some comparison pics next to each other but 30cm is way too much height. This figure/line are made on a different scale (sadly for me, because I wanted some characters not made yet) so they would not be competing against each other.
I don't specially like very big statues like that, the Medicos one is the exception lol That is a masterpiece.

This particular picture is driving me insane! How could they have mastered his outfit in such perfection! I was going around showing him to my family just to depict the marvelous execution of that figure.

I'm sure Bluefin will probably distribute this over here.
9,720 yen is about $90 so he's kind of on the pricy range... I thought that Bandai was trying to compete with Banpresto with this new scale but maybe they want to cash in on the high-end collectible statues collectors.
It still looks great! I'll definitely pick one up.

Banpresto is a subsidiary of Bandai Namco, like any other company brand mentioned above. I'm sure Bluefin will probably distribute this over here. No reason to think that it wouldn't get imported to all of the worldwide Tamashii markets, like most of their products are.

I might also put in a pre order. I thought BBTS charges for pre orders right away?

BBTS does NOT charge for pre-orders right away which is great! But they don't notify you when items are coming either so be ready with cash in your account around the time the figure comes out!
The only website that does that is mentioned on here is Toyzinthebox.com, but they're a smaller retailer and their prices are slightly lower. But you will be charged upfront.

They do charge you automatically when the figure is in stock and don't let you choose whether to pay or not (unlike all other stores I've bought from) which is quite annoying.

But they're pretty reliable, ship quickly and carry a large variety of items. Been ordering from them for a long time... Like you said, just got to pay attention to your pre-orders. Got caught off guard when they charged me $400 for the Hot Toys Batman Armory and I forgot to cancel it! Luckily I got some store credit and still have plenty on pre-order with them that it can go towards. I'm eyeballing the Medicos SSJ Goku they have on their site.
