Wow! That looks great! Do you recommend that line of figures? The articulation looks good. I have to check them out, because they might be good placeholders for awhile. If they work well enough, I'm going to change my votes for the top 5/ top 15, topics for figures are in more need of being made first. If they make a Fat Buu in scale, that might be all the articulation I need. The Hybrid line are all in the 4" scale so the Fat Buu isn't to scale with the Figuarts figures. Kid Buu is the only one that is close because he was small in the series. Thanks!

Great edit Branjita! That side by side shot with Goku looked much more accurate for Vegeta. I think it's a real shame that Cell wasn't bigger though. The eyes being bigger, make him seem even skinnier and less intimidating.

You just reminded me. I also Photoshopped Cell's face when he was announced because I was disappointed in it too. I'll put that pic in the Perfect Cell topic.

Now that I think about it, Movie Collection Piccolo could go with (normal) goku when he's released(World Tournament).

Hmm...I really do like that Hybrid Kid Buu! He looks to be ideally scaled to partner with the SHF line, which is funny considering how small some of the other figures from the Hybrid line are. Are all of the Hybrid figures to scale with each other? I can't exactly answer the question myself, as I've never owned one myself. If it weren’t for that ugly swivel joint at the elbow I might have bought one also.
I do have a few Irwin/Jakks figure that I think work perfectly with the SH figuarts line:
Garlic Jnr., Cyborg Frieza, King Cold, Second Form Cell and Majin Buu.
I also feel that these figures are not only to scale with SHF figures; but are of high enough quality in regards to sculpture to be displayed opposite them, without looking out of place:
Master Roshi & Turtle, Yajirobi & Korin, King Kai & Bubbles, androids 19 & 20, Kibito & Shin, Spopovich, Pui Pui, Yakkon, Dabura, Babidi and of course all the Buu figures; which have already been covered. It looks like most if not all Irwin/Jakks Buu figures are in perfect sale, personally I only approve of Irwin's Mr. Buu and Jakks' Gohan absorbed Super Buu figures.
I am sure there are scores of figures that will fit in scale with the SHF line, equally so. However, it is my personaly opinion that these figures will display the best. I must remember to add the few figures listed I don't currently own to my collection.

Actually, a lot of figures you posted aren't quite up there in scale. A lot of them are too small to fit with SHF.
Garlic Jr, Cyborg Frieza and King Cold work alright.
Specific examples which are too small include all the Buu's, Second Form Cell, Spopovich, Roshi etc.

Agree with Gonstead. Garlic Jr and Cyborg Frieza should be fine, though maybe not King Cold.
Cell 2nd form is definitely way too small. I had to lengthen him for 5 inch scale because he was huge in the series. Buus are too small too, though HQDX Super Buu should be ideal and the Hybrid Kid Buu is alright.

Yes, admittedly Roshi is a tad small; but he's also the best Roshi we've got! Irwin's Fat Buu, Spopovich and Second Form Cell are all within scale. So, I really don't know how you came to that conclusion. Cell is larger than SHF's Perfect Version, as he should be. Spopovich is a bulking Goliath just like the anime, but appears shorter because of his squatted stance. Fat Buu is quite simply perfectly in scale with the Figuarts line. If you really want to split hairs, Korin is also way too small. I'd recommend an AB Korin and Irwin Yajirobi and probably also a AB Roshi too - his shell does come off correct?

The shell does come off. I am more than positive that Cell 2nd form is not to scale with SHF. He is supposed to be bigger than Perfect Cell and he was equal to the Irwin version, so if he had to be lengthened for a 5 inch scale, there's just little way for him to fit into a 5.5-6 inch line.

That's nice... but I was referring only to action figures, not the anime or manga. In relation to the original anime/manga, two figures from completely separate lines are never going to be "perfectly" scaled with one another. If we're going off the anime, Buu's size changes dramatically from scene to scene and episode to episode. So, there's no definitive "scale". Should Buu be marginally larger - yes. Is he, no. Does he display well with the Figuarts line -yes! I mean, honestly? You proposed the IF Labs final form Cooler was to scale with Figuarts. The discrepancy with scale in that instance is so much more significant than with Buu.

You were claiming the figures would work perfectly in scale with SHF, not that they work merely as simply being displayed with SHF and disregarding scale.
If you had said so in the first place, we probably would have had a different conversation than what we are doing now.

No, I think you'll find if you do some simple comprehension you'll discover that only the latter is applicable.
