Hey guys! How do you guys feel when a figure you own gets damaged or scuffed or anything that makes it no longer mint? I bring this up because i recently got a dab of paint on my Broly figure after he dove off my shelf and i had picked him up with the slightest drop of paint on my finger. Do you guys deal with it? like what do you tell yourself to make this feel better. cuz i feel like crap right now haha

Well I don't think you'd feel bad about it the moment you convince yourself that you don't want to sell him in the future and that it's ok for him to get a little damaged during play time (afterall it's a toy). And it's not even that bad, at least his joints didnt break or anything.

Putting figures on shelves is never a good idea considering they can easily fall and hit the ground. That's why it's best to buy a display case.

Or you could just sit them all on the ground...

ah if only i had a case to display them, well i can always get one i guess. but no forreal any of you guys ever have to deal with something like that? I have slowly stopped being so bumbed out over the slight dot due to what@roshisurprise said. ive just thought about the fact that i'd probably keep the toy forever so its resale value isnt really a thing i should care too much about

Never happened to my personal collection but it would probably suck!
Do you have a picture of broly now, that we can see? You could probably carefully scrape the paint off without damaging the original paint. I used the tip of the exacto knife to scape the paint when I make mistakes on my customs. When you scrape it, do it little by little and do it gently(?) very carefully. You could also paint it and match it with the original color? Or you can leave it as is if your not comfortable on either suggestion.

I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary on Broly in those pictures. Where was the paint?
I don't think you have too much to worry about.

Those white dots? Dude those are barely visible. Don't beat yourself up. At least you've never BROKEN a figure...

My Frieza has a paint chip in his shin. I'm not sure where it came from, and I'm guessing finding a metallic purple to match it would be troublesome. Other than that, all my Figuarts are in perfect shape.
