So Amazon "Cancelled" my Vegetto order, as I mentioned in the Vegetto thread. I ordered from BBTS and had to pay shipping on it, but they shipped immediately.
Sunday I get notification from Amazon that "Oh hay, we didn't ACTUALLY cancel your order on you!" and I get notified that they are shipping my Vegetto out now.
So today I have 2x Vegetto... I was already considering getting two, since it's regular/SS, but it was a little irksome of Amazon to tell me they are cancelling it, then LOL WHOOPS, charged me and sent it over a week later.
Also the BBTS packaging I cannot commend enough, that crap was so well packed, the figure is PRISTINE in the shipper. The Amazon box actually had a ding in the shipper, nothing I would be upset about, but in comparison, I know why.

I'm thinking about ordering the ss goku reissue from the toy source. If I wait until the item goes for sale instead of preorder will it ship after the people who already preordered?

I generally get them on eBay as soon as they start popping up.

since the whole discussion about the preordering is still here and haven't been moved to the "Where do you order your figures from?" thread yet, I'll just ask it here. move it to other thread if needed. I've been collecting the line for almost a year, and I haven't pre-oredered a figure even once. and since I want to pre-order the new figures (SSGSS Goku, Golden Frieza, Mystic Gohan, BD SS Goku, SS Vegeta repaint) I've got few questions - Where is the best to pre-order them from? looking for a place where I don't need to pay right now, bt only when they come out. I've been using Toy Dojo for quite a lot of time now, and I got no complains about them, but I fon't know if they're good to preorder from. are they? if I'm preordering everything at once, and I pay a certain amount for the shipping, do I have to pay it for every each figure that come out? or the amount includes all the figures's shipping? (I'm asking this since every figure come out in a different time, and they're not sending me all of them together) Guess what, the easiest way to "Move" a discussion, is to post int he proper thread. Big Bad Toy Store offers pre-ordering and paying when it's in stock instead of up front, and has a 'Pile of Loot' feature which they will hold your stuff until they can ship it all out together. There are some limitations but I forget them off the top of my head since I don't usually use them. MHToyshop also allows you to choose whether you pay now or later as well, but I don't know of any combination shipping from them on stuff that comes out at different times.

thanks! I'll wait for more comments to get more information about other sites Definitely, I know a bunch of people have preferred pre-ordering at sites where you pay when it comes out. Which I totally get and USUALLY agree with, except recently I sold a lot of stuff on eBay and keeping that "Spending money" separate is easier if I just spend it on what I wanted to pre-order now instead of waiting for the bill to come through.

gotenks, you can look through this entire thread to get references for ALL the online sellers. Every seller has their pros and cons depending on your location. Seeing as you're in Israel, you might want to ask your fellow international fans what the best sellers for you are. You might be better off buying directly from Japan from some sellers and you might be better off buying from U.S. sellers in some cases.
Most of the folks on here are in the U.S. (like myself) and usually our comments are going to be bias to our local U.S. sellers, which may be great for us within the Continental United States, but not as reasonable for our international friends. I highly suggest you ask for international opinions.
Best thing I can say to you is that international shipping has just gotten more expensive in the past few years through U.S. sellers. Not because of the sellers themselves, but because postal carriers like USPS, UPS and FedEx have raised their rates. So while a seller like Toyzinthebox has great US shipping rates, their international rates may be expensive.

Toyz specifically has a flat rate of something like $40 for international if I recall correctly. I remember someone elsewhere complaining about that. With good cause of course, just sucks.

Dunno bout other places, but bbts wil ship everything together it if you preorder it all at once. They also Have something called pile of loot. From there site.
With the Pile of Loot feature turned 'on', all items will be held in a virtual storage bin until you tell us to ship. Pile of Loot items can be shipped immediately, or be held up to 6 months, the time frame is up to you. This system will work particularily well with preorder customers, international customers, and frequent customers. The flexibility of adding in-stock items to your preorder shipments allows you to improve your collection without much added shipping expense.

You'll probably have to do a lot of the research on your own gotenks. BBTS is a good start because you can view shipping charges and they don't charge for preorders until they ship.
Some websites have a pay for preorder later option like MHToyshop, but they then make the entire order 0.00 when you choose that option. You may need to do some near check-outs on other websites just short of putting your payment information in to see the shipping rates. Good luck!
