I use a heat gun for all my plastic loosening needs. A hair dryer is just as effective, probably safer cuz if you're not careful with a heat gun you could melt your parts or singe the carpet underneath lol

I'm not a fan of the whole hot water thing, but thanks. Haven't had the time to try any suggestions yet but I will let you guys know the results when I do. Thanks! Especially to Branjita because I like his method the best! Don't be afraid of using freshly boiled water to do things. At least using that method nobody would ever know you had to fix the figure. If it works, it's definitely a better solution than the two I mentioned.

Unfortunately, I tried to coat the peg with glue and let it dry, but I didn't actually add enough girth to solve the problem. Meanwhile, Bandai is being a (insert swear word here), and not letting me exchange it. So basically I'm screwed. I don't know what to do now.

Jeeze, am I really the only one on this entire forum who's Figuarts are not faulty or damaged at all? (Barring Scouter Vegeta because that's a common fault)

I didn't understand all of Mr Simple's post since I don't have any loose figuarts, but I think his method will solve your problem. Just put a glass measuring cup of water in the microwave for 1.5 minutes, take it out, and carefully put the part the peg slides into into the freshly boiled water and let it stay in there 30 seconds to a minute. Take it out, blot on a towel or wrap in a towel, and push the arm peg in. You can use a hair dryer instead of boiled water, but it takes longer and is noisy.

Just attempted the boiling water solution. At first it seemed to work, but then as soon as I touched it, it fell off again. Does anyone know why Bandai has suck terrible customer service? They wont let me exchange it for an unflawed one.

Do all scouter vegetas have the legs defect? If so do they at least stay ON the figure?

axelrules, yes. They all do, as far as I know. And no, don't even think about trying to get the legs to stay on. They pop off super easily. Mine also used to frequently split in half from the lower ball/socket in his torso.

axelrules, if you push the leg inwards and up with a tiny bit of force, you can get it to hold long enough to have him so he is at least standing. Just don't expect to pull off any extravagant poses though. The SDCC version fixed the problem though.

Is there anymore problems with the sh figuarts piccolo other than putting the head on whe he has the cape? And when you put the crossed arms does it make it easier for the arms to fall off when you put the regular ones?
