As a head's up to anyone with Clone Goku, I've heard reports that the head peg is very tight. I've got mine in and can confirm his head is much tighter than usual. No idea why, maybe they did a poor man's recast of the head? The faces are a tad ill-fit for the head, so that's a possibility. Haven't seen any break yet, so that's good I guess.
Also, what's QC like on SS4 if anyone has him?

bcapp has mentioned that his SS4 Goku has loose leg joints. Hopefully it’s not a common issue.

It sucks that these issues are almost to be expected with each new release. It’s not a dealbreaker, not for me at least, but it’s a consistent problem.

My SSJ4 Goku's problem was that he had super floppy feet! I used Pledge at first and although it kinda worked, the weight was still too much for the joints to handle. Then I tried funtak, that worked, but it made the feet look ugly and I also had to push the putty back in whenever I had to make Goku pose differently. Finally as a last resort, I used... one drop of super glue after disassembling the joint, applied it to the inner wall of the hole, made sure it was dry, and it did work.

Good lord. I hate this kind of mistake. The supposed "quality control" of the subsidiary of Japanese toy manufacturer known as BANDAI, Tamashii Nations, has returned with devious intentions. I do love when they put two of the same face in the box. Shows how much that seal really means. |

I'm genuinely confused how the incorrect faceplate is the one actually on the figure. I can see how someone might miss the extra faces being duplicated or incorrect, but putting the wrong face on the figure itself is crazy. I can't figure out how that can even happen.

Lol damn. Unfortunately these types of defects should be expected at this point. We all know the “seal of quality” is literally just a sticker & nothing more.
