I have no experience in any of this thankfully so I only have more questions to add lol, is itchiness really a huge issue? I love a man with body and facial hair but I hear guys say they avoid them because of the irritation. Does it vary from person to person or is it just a tradeoff for looking epically manly?

It varies, as for irritation a beard gives that as far as I know(dad).

I get a lot of skin irritation and flaking when I grow my beard too long. And chest hair can get itchy when it is hot.  |

My facial hair comes in pretty fast. Except for a little patch under my chin. For whatever reason no hair will grow there.

the 7th through 14th day of beard growing is an agonizing, itchy experience, I would best describe as sleeping on a green scrubby sponge.

LOl so late in the thread but for me, i can only grow a mustache and a goatee. lol my ma always tell me to shave it off because she said i look like a movie villain.

I have the full beard going on just like my dad has it & my brothers. I never liked shaving it off. I remember when I was in high school my dad tried getting me a job at a Arby's and the manager told me I had to shave everything but I could keep my mustache to work there so I told him no thanks and walked out my dad was so pissed off at me lol. I would never shave my beard not even for a job.

I haven't fully shaved my beard off since I was 17. The most I do is trim it or have fun cutting it in different ways.
