One thing that still kinds of bothers me...the Vegeta prototype has regular blue shading on the hair whereas the retail Goku has almost gray shading...but, at a distance the base colors seem to be a perfect match and it's easy to ignore that minor inconsistency. If this is how Vegeta is going to look I'll be satisfied with it.

Luckily A LOT of people have been voicing their concerns on Tamashii and Bluefin's Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts. They could still change the figure up and give us what we want (and deserve) but I highly doubt it. People should definitely continue to vent their frustrations via Tamashii's social media. It wouldn't be completely out of the question for changes to be made at this point if people make their voices heard. Personally I don't care about having a powered down head, and while the crossed arms would be nice, I can get over that. It really pisses me off that he doesn't get a new hair sculpt though. They'd be able to reuse the SSGSS hair for Majin Vegeta as well.

If we just took whatever they gave us and never expressed feedback and criticism, they wouldn't have any need to improve the products. I've gotten over the lack of normal head and the crossed arms as well. At this point at the very least they can paint his hair to match Goku's. The lack of a new sculpt sucks too but I've gotten over it. I just hope that they don't decide to have a new sculpt for an older saga Vegeta release since it would look odd to have a newer saga version using the old one. This was the time for them to update the hair and re-use that for the Buu release but they screwed it up unfortunately.

with all the lame recent releases (except SAW Goku and Beerus which are masterpieces of course) and all the great TFC releases, I'm starting to having doubt about whether continue collecting the line. Maybe only get the one's I really want instead of everyone of the releases.

You don't need to, 'want' all the figures that are gunna come out. There will always be some that you are not interested in, so don't force yourself into wanting it. Only buy the ones that you know you want.

I think a lot of the time it's easy to enjoy lusting after the figures more than the practicality of actually owning the figures themselves.

Another pressure collectors may get is ''well, I really want them all!'' but in reality, do you? Don't let yourself get sinked into hype, it has happened ALOT of times, and its not just figures but video games, movies, etc etc too. Maybe watch a review of the figure first in youtube to get yourself a hands-on look at it, or check reviews in toysites where the general opinion lies in wether the figure is good quality or not.

Yeah that looks like the worst in the line and it's not even close. The paint they chose for the gold parts of the armor looks awful and is almost as tacky as the metallic blue hair. This figure could have been awesome... Oh well, now we just have to wait for a Buu saga/majin Vegeta and hope they update the hair at the very least.
