I've bought the Frieza and SS Goku while I also have Cell and SS2 Gohan on lay-by
I will say that they do feel quite fragile but that's to be expected
Frieza, I had problems with. One of the shoulder ball joints ended up twisting the stem and breaking, and the other one is difficult to move as it seems to be getting stuck unless I have it tilted on a certain angle
Goku, is a much better figure than Frieza but feels more fragile and cheap
Overall though these are probably the best dbz figures I've ever had and one massive point in their favour is that they are easily accessible in my area (unlike figuarts or shodo neo),I look forward to getting the others and seeing what else gets released (looking forward to Vegeta, Trunks and the Androids)

That Figure Rise Standard Cell would be a good custom base for 2nd form of Cell.
After the cool looking Frieza pod I hope they release a Figure Rise Standard Frieza spaceship too. Not sure what size the would be but i feel it would be bigger than the AB one.

My local Gamestop had a Freeza, and since I had some spare money in my budget anyway (I had budgeted for $575 VIP tickets for the Austin convention RTX, but ended up just getting regular weekend passes) I went ahead and picked him up. I had a lot of fun with it, actually... One of the few toy lines I remember owning prior to Figuarts was a set of DBZ model kits, but I finally got rid of them because they didn't hold together well and the rubber Gis they came with tended to tear.
Freeza was a blast though, the instructions were easy enough to understand, and while everything might be tight, none of it is locked in place (which is great since I want to try mixing him with some of Cell's pieces.)

I find it strange that nothing has been announced for awhile.

I find it strange that nothing has been announced for awhile. Yeah, I do too. I hope this line doesn't get cancelled. I just got my SS3 Goku, Kid Buu & Freeza Hoverchair the other day and I like this line a lot and wait to get SS4 Goku & Vegeta.

I would hope not. I enjoyed my first build from this line, and I'm looking forward to doing a few more in the future... my first love is the Figuarts line, but these are close enough to scale that I suspect a fair few will end up on my shelf if the line continues.

This line just hasn't been doing it for me. The sculpts are pretty good for the most part except for Cell's derpy face and Frieza's proportions. The scale is just too large so it screws it up imo. Like majintomato said, Figuarts are bae

I just got my SS3 Goku, Kid Buu & Freeza Hoverchair the other day and I like this line a lot and wait to get SS4 Goku & Vegeta. Have you put together Frieza's Hoverchair? I'm really looking forward to that. I have decided to stop purchasing them overseas though. The shipping cost is ridiculous where it's well worth the wait to get them from Amazon or even Barnes & Noble. Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta look very promising. The Fusion display looks REALLY good! If they announce a Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta I would hope not. I enjoyed my first build from this line, and I'm looking forward to doing a few more in the future... my first love is the Figuarts line, but these are close enough to scale that I suspect a fair few will end up on my shelf if the line continues. Putting them together has been a very cool, different experience with figures. I look at S.H.Figuarts, Figma, Revoltech, and etc. and begin to imagine how they're put together now.

I do not, but my google fu was able to find a video review that shows it side by side with the 5 inch scale figure. Not at home to be able to pull a good screenshot myself, but it might help someone who at least has the metallic cell figure (or any of the model kits/figures shown at the end of the video) photoshop a decent size comparison even if they don't have the Irwin model kit.

They need to make a Dr. Wheelo. That would be totally awesome as a model kit.
