Very cool looking effect piece for Android 17.
As good as that Time machine looks with the shading and all, I doubt it would be the same once released. The earlier space pod release had the same shading style in pics but the final product turned out to be just a white ball. The cell insect like caccoon piece is a surprising addition, got a nice size to it too which means that for every Figure Rise Mechanics there's going to be a accessory included. So cool.

My Figure Collection has Krillin listed as an upcoming release, with a picture of the remote to kill the androids. I'm guessing he's the Age 767 model myfigurecollection.net/item/549997

None of these releases will come with shading. They provide a color guide on the back of the instructions if the collector wants to paint the figure for a more life-like finish. I've been very tempted to do it seeing how amazing a lot of them look with paint application.

I got the space pod, SSJ4 Goku, SSJ4 Vegeta, and Kid Buu. So much fun putting them together. Yes they are a bit out of scale but I think they still display well. I was just going to get a few but since they are cheap I might get the other figures released. With them being slightly bigger than figuarts I really hope they do a full Ginyu Force. I could see the force scaling well

I think Frieza makes for a decent 100% transformation

The scale with figuarts SS Goku could be worse.

You should go ahead and try to paint one to your liking, I've seen some on the Frieza pod and i really liked it, even on a kid buu but that was some high level paint shading done. Here's a video of someone who's already tried it on some FRS figures. Skip towards the end to see the other figures. I wonder how he's got those shading done exactly in those sculpted gaps.

Alden I'm pretty sure he uses Gundam Panel Lining markers. I think he's the same guy who painted the ssj Goku and he used those when painting that figure.

I use an airbrush on my Gundam and do a wash with brushes and very thin paint. I'm sure that would work for these as well. Once I get ahold of kid buu I am going to try it and I will post pics
