Ya know, I know a lot of people doesnt like this line, but in some ways they can be better than figuarts. especially if you add the right type of paint. Here are my painted figures. I made broly the yellow hair second coming version:

Lighter fluid, huh? Used it in what way, exactly? a tutorial online told me to use gundam markers for painting then smudge it to create a shadowing effect like how I posted above. then lighter fluid to wipe out excess paint and create more airbrushy look. and it worked! |

I do NOT recommend the SSGSS Goku model. It is, pardon my French, a complete piece of crap. The directions are horrible. I've spent the last three HOURS trying to assemble his upper body, and even though I follow the instructions to the letter, some of the pieces still won't connect.

Nice update guys. Looking forward to that Gotenks more than the Figuarts lol. There's just something about building these figures that is so satisfying, add to that great articulation and that these figures stand very well on their feets even one for that matter, very good balance for example that fusion pose of the SS4's. I still find it very funny when I see Gokus armpits in the figuarts line. They really should change that design and use something like what figure rise has done. Even the knee joints of the frs look better but the latest Super Buu figuarts version seems to have some good improvements done to the knee.
Where's the Cap America guy with the cool King Cold pic? You used to post frequently with the new figure rise updates. Miss it.

Never mind, I got it to work. I had to REALLY force the parts together. It's odd. Normally they just snap together like it's nothing.
