I have finally decided to share my dbz customs with you all. Some of these are copied recipes from the greats here and some are unfinished. However, if anyone can motivate and inspire me to finish these and continue its you guys.
I use sculpey for all the parts I had to customize. Yes I know it's not the greatest now but I bought my supplies before finding this site and only now are certain creations crumbling (mainly the newer ones). Any tips are appreciated!
Most of these were made about 4 years ago. I will upload in the order the made them best I can remember. I hope you enjoy them and maybe you can inspire me to fix some of these duds or make new characters. Ayways enjoy!
Edit: I just realized some of the pics are blurry. I will get better pictures and from more angles when I can. If you want to see something in better detail or from a different angle let me know!

This is my first custom ever, Turles. I know the gloves and colors along with the arm and leg band are not accurate. I copied the colors from the vhs box of tree of might (if anyone has it you will see the color is much closer than to the actual movie). This was before I ever even considered sculpting, I just wanted to see if I could actually make a custom figure.

My next figure is one that I consider one of my best. The reason that I chose this character (Colonel Violet) is that there aren't many female characters in 5 inch scale and I was watching this saga at the time. The upper body and head is chi chi with some sculpting, minus the hands. The hands, legs, and boots were from a star wars toy. I increased the height in the boots as you can probably tell. I'm terrible with small details so the eyes and red ribbon logo are just paper. She is missing her goggles.

This next figure was made around the same time as Violet. The recipe was copied from cmakhk. I never got around to giving him a belt.

Believe it or not I did not copy this recipe from Adrenaline but it is the same (although his turned out much better). 3rd form Frieza. Nothing special but still very cool

Back to the red ribbon army theme: Staff officer black This figure was made from a mick foley wrestling figure with a staff black dwc head. Sorry if I forget the line these figures come from its been a minute. I cut the foley figure in half and sanded him down to about the right size. The jacket is not accurate as it should be closed, he is missing his red ribbon, and there are no pin stripes on his pants. But he is still a badass.

The one, the only, emperor Pilaf!
I could have just left the dwc as is but to me it didn't feel right. I have always felt Pilaf is Garlic Jr's less evil brother. Plus the garlic jr figure is perfect for putting a dragonball in his hand which I did not do with this picture for some reason. He still needs his symbol on his shirt and he may one day get it, but probably not. I can tell you one thing though, the decision to upsize the original pilaf figure has no left me in a bind as I have to now upsize Shu as well.

Yamcha from one of the tournaments (I'm too lazy to look which one). This figure was made with a sbc goku body and Irwin Yamcha head. The lower shirt came from a lotr hobbit and his belt from goku. I only had one Yamcha and have not since replaced him but if you're only gonna have one Yamcha it might as well be a cool one and not loser Yamcha from end of dbz right? Anyways this figure was my 2nd attempt at sculpting (the neck, upper shirt). He is missing his symbol on his shirt and his headband. Also he has scars that shouldn't be there.

Next is my favorite character: Cooler This recipe was copied from Adrenaline. Pretty simple custom really but one of my favorites

Next up: Vinegar
This is also a cmakhk recipe with minor changes (the hair which came from a spawn zues figure, and the horns which came from a 2nd form frieza)

This next one goes along with Vinegar and was inspired by cmakhk but not quite the same:
Spice was made using an ultimate figure series vegeta bootleg head, Irwin black jump suit gohan body, hob goblin marvel legends cape, and arms from real works broly?

This next one is a figure that was made by Irwin but not accurate. I know accuracy is not my strong point but I never got the Irwin release and wanted a 2nd Roshi so here he is:
The legs are Irwin krillin. The shell was attached until my brother messed with it. Overall one of my best works I think.

Now time for a few figures that were never quite finished but found there way into my collection.
Android 13:
Needs his boots painted and one final paint job overall. I know the pants aren't 100% accurate but they probably never will be either
Spike the Devilman:
He is missing his wings which is not ok but I have not yet found suitable wings. His eyes are missing pupils and he still needs a final paint job. He was made using a marvel (forgot the line) Venom body and his horns came from a violator spawn figure. The head is dwc Murasaki.
This one is probably my favorite despite it not being done and the sculpey not holding up. Cacao:
made from Irwin burter. This figure is the only one I sculpted heavily on and I felt I did a decent job until I realized his legs and cap were cracking. He is missing the tubes on his armor and some detail but still one of my favorites
And finally what I consider to be my best recipe: Base form Broly
He was made using kabito legs and sash, general blue torso, and real works broly head. I sculpted the rest as you can see but the boots and sash cracked beyond repair. I would love to fix him someday but the recipe is too good to go unnoticed so if someone wants to make a better one go right ahead.
