That's a pretty cool character design! I like it!

Cooler has been started. Thanks to Branjita for the idea to use the oversized Dragon Stars Freeza as a base, it's just about perfect for what I want. He's pretty much ready to paint, but I'm waiting for his head to arrive (using WCF Cooler) before painting so I can try to match colors. Also, Adrenaline , this is what I meant when I was talking about the neck peg. Look at that thing! it's absurd! If Vegeta's is even half that long, there is NO reason his head should sit that low.

Wow, that's obviously perfect for a Figuarts (or similar) scale Cooler. Looks great with the WCF head!

That's insane. I wonder what benefit it was to them to make it that way. In Vegeta's case, I guess he at least has plenty of neck if anyone wants to go through the trouble of adding filler in there and raising the peg to raise the head lol

Cooler is basically done, though I might touch up the paint in a few spots. I have actually molded the feet for Cold now, just need to cast them, which I'll work on this weekend.

Wow Tarble looks great! Is there a way to make the final product smoother when using a 3d printer? I remember when several years back the 3d printer was first being talked about in the toy community, I was like 'I can make anything I want! Then realized, you have to actually know what you're doing and it seems like you do!
I'm digging that King Cold! Love concept forms and characters! I would have picked more purplish and pinkish colors, but the colors you used, you applied very well! I truly hate painting in white!

There are a couple methods you can use, either you can manually sand the print down, or there are sprays you can add over the print to smooth it out. I can only personally vouch for manual sanding, but I have a friend who uses the sprays for cosplay purposes I can ask about it if you'd like. It's really a question of whether you want to build up or sand down, or potentially both.
As for the blue, I agree about purpleish likely being more accurate, but at the same time, I think the blue pops more.
In other news, Cold is now done, I made a cast of his feet using a bootleg 2nd form Freeza, and Mr Popo is being molded, I just haven't taken photos yet.

Took some photos this weekend, just now finally getting around to uploading them. First, the Mr. Popo molding process. I have, no joke, gone through more than two full sets of Oogoo 30 molding material on this guy and I'm still not done molding him yet. It's come a bit further than it was when I took this picture (now he looks like he's encased in Carbonite ala Han Solo) but I had to add stacks of legos just to take up space and use a bit less molding material. Meinwhile, King Cold's feet are officially done. I had to mold the right foot twice (I molded it over the figure rise ball joint, and it was originally higher than on the left) but they turned out rather well for my first time casting in close to a decade.

I could totally be interested in the Popo casts if they turn out well.

Cool. It shouldn't be too hard to make some extra casts.
Out of curiosity, what size would you want? I'm trying to shoot for ~4 inches (aka Krillin size) but if you wanted something different it's easier to just make multiple hydroshrinks.

I want him in Figuarts scale. I'm not sure how tall that would be, exactly. I'd have to look at references and stuff.

See, that's kind of where I'm at... From what I can tell, he's roughly Krillin height, but what that means changes from scene to scene and even the figuarts fig isn't quite correct.
As things stand, the original Popo stands at ~8-9 inches (reports on the Popo conflict and mine is currently covered in oogoo 30) and the optimal hydroshrink ratio is about 1:2, which will end up at 45% of his original height. If he's 9in that's probably fine, especially if I short the water a bit... But if he's closer to 8inch, I may have to risk a 1:1 ratio, which is not recommended but which will supposedly allow a 54% size reduction.
It's a moot point ATM tho. I've used 3 full sets plus the remainder of a fourth and I still need at least one more set of oogoo 30 to give me decent coverage. And since they run $25 a pop and I'm about to be charged for Tien... I'm gonna hold off a few weeks before getting an additional set.
