I can't believe the size of that Shenron and that Bardock! So huge!
And those custom SS4 characters are some of the best I've seen!

Thanks! It was a long way to get there... but totally worth it. I enjoyed the process of having creative direction to get him to truly be how I wanted him to look!  I can't believe the size of that Shenron and that Bardock! So huge! And those custom SS4 characters are some of the best I've seen! Yeah, Shenron is huge! I still am trying to figure out where to display him. And the SS4 customs are all Ferrytale Customs. His work is still the best out there that I've gotten my hands on. The pictures don't do those figures justice, really. AND.. yessss. Bardock is huge! But I did some photoshopping of him next to my lifesize Goku and Gohan and I think he scales pretty well (I tried to base it off of Goku and Bardock's hair, because it was the same mold used for those). SOON... so soon these 3 will meet. Bardock ships out Monday to me!  |

Looks like Bardock will be quite a bit taller than Goku! But nothing wrong with that! It's not like they ever crossed paths or anything!

That Shenron is insane!!!! I don't think I've ever been so jealous in my life...It must have cost a million dollars!!!! you are truly fortunate...talk about life goals complete!

NOT the top of their hair, Goku is 5'8" and Bardock is 6'4", so only 8" taller. I like how they look together, honestly even though I'm sure a lot people will be bothered by the height difference, lol. I'm happy!   |

That's awesome! I'm not bothered by the height difference at all! Goku's brother Raditz was much taller than Goku, perhaps significantly over 6' tall! So it's ok for Bardock to be taller than Goku by that logic!
How ironic is it that the statue is legitimately within an inch of Goku's real height? 5'7" at the end of DB, 5'9" around Buu Saga. Pretty cool!

Also, what started as me just wanting to clarify to some naysayers that didn't think this looked like Bardock, I put together quick comparison of the art style I like (using Goku and Turles, as I couldn't find a good screencap from the first Bardock special) in comparison to some rough line work on top of the statue. Then.. after thinking this looked so dang cool, I went ahead and just did the line work over both full photos. Thought I'd share here, 'cause why not?    |

I think it looks like Bardock. And Raditz was around 6'6" (I looked it up on DBF) so Bardock being taller than a 5'7" to 5'9" Goku (depending on the saga in DBZ) seems ok to me. Some of the people on the Facebook groups haven't been fans for 10+ years like many of us, so you have to take what they say with a grain of salt (that they may not really know what they are talking about). The only design criticism I can think of is that I think it would have been slightly nicer if the eyes were more like the artwork you posted. Instead they are extremely angular. I think at real-life-scale, his eyes should have some rounding to them as the outside corner approached the eyebrow. But that's only an extremely minor criticism.

yummypixels Shenron is absolutely JAW DROPPING! Holy cow! Cool to discover you on here, I remember all your custom Jakks videos and posts from way back in the day, you had some of the coolest Jakks customs I've ever seen before. I remember your bardock lineup >>>
