So I have an Irwin Super Saiyan Vegeta that needs to be cracked open so I can fix his insanely loose left arm; however, I have no clue how to do this without damaging the figure as I once messed up a Super Saiyan Goku to the point of having to replace him.
Help?

Here, try this dragonballfigures.com/post/156/threadIf it's the Irwin Series 5 SS Vegeta that looks like he might be an ascended SS/Super Vegeta, I would advise you to not even try this. That figure is notoriously hard to pop open, and I've never done it without heavily damaging it, and I've popped dozens or perhaps even over 100 figures. It's one of the hard to do ones.

That sucks. Mine already has one side with a slight crack in it, so I figured I could get away with it. It's this one... (photo found online) Attachment Deleted

Yeah, that one is hard to pop. I may be wrong, but I seem to recall it having an enormous peg in the middle and Irwin actually glued the two halves together (which wasn't super, super common). It's been a few years, so I'm not sure anymore.

I dont really have anything of value to add just wanted to say that my son managed to perfectly pop open striking z piccolo which I had tried myself in the past using various methods with zero success. He's only 2 so maybe let a small child play with the figure? Lol

You probably loosened it for him.

Probably lol but iirc he was also notoriously hard to pop. Supernamekien, what method did you plan to use to tighten the shoulder? Couldn't you apply clear nail polish to the loose joint without opening him up?

I honestly lack the tools necessary for getting into such a small space, so the only way I can see of tightening the shoulder is by opening the figure and wraping PTFE tape around the joint.
