So I'm in the Facebook group "DBZ Vintage Collectors" and one of the members recently posted this photo of the 16" Super Saiyan Goku (often remembered as being a part of the " Best of DBZ" bootleg line.) As you can see, the figure is painted (or, more likely than not, cast) entirely in silver. Does anyone know the origins of this figure? I've never seen this before as it appears as though this is the one photo of it on the internet. boundlesshalo.imgur.com/all/Attachment Deleted

They did realease that figure in Bandai 97 packaging but not in silver. Could be a grey prototype maybe?

Hmm, I don't know anything about it.
There was supposedly a silver SS Goku figure released in Japan a few years ago if I remember right, and it corresponded with some Playstation thing or something I think.
I don't really pay attention to monochromatic painted stuff though, so I don't really know.
