King King looks awesome. Same with the Godzilla figure. The Figma Spiderman looks nice too but I'll stick with my Toybiz Mcfarlane Spidey (only marvel figure I own)

Why do you think there are so many Spiderman figures with that dot texture on his outfit? I've never understood the purpose of the dots. Is his costume made of bubble wrap?

I think it is just something they added for the movies.

Got all of those friends coming in! Figma Spiderman That kong really does look beast. And great catch with those Jason and the argonauts skeletons! And that figma Spider-Man looks beautiful. I've been very tempted to order it, but I'd rather wait and see if they release an Amazing Spider-Man 2 version. In any case, I'd say this looks to be the best 1/12 scale Amazing Spider-Man figure on the market, and loads better than the Medicom Mafex version.

I haven't watched the new Spiderman movie yet. Is it better than the Tobey Maquire movies?

Aussie u could have made a better spiderman movie than the ones with Toby those movies sucked. The 3rd one made me so mad I loved venom growing up he was prob my fav villain when I was a kid and then to see that movie was just such a let down ugh I don't want to talk about it anymore or I'll get depressed

I haven't watched the new Spiderman movie yet. Is it better than the Tobey Maquire movies? I would say it's about as good as the first and second Tobey Maquire films. For some reason, I personally enjoyed it far more than the old ones, but I'm not going to say that it's way better than them. It's about the same. Definitively a different take on Spider-Man. More comic-accurate in some ways, less in others. In any case, it's loads better than the abomination that was Spider-Man 3. Also, the Amazing Spider-Man 2 looks crazy awesome. And I can't even express the envy I have over you owning a McFarlane Spidey.

And I can't even express the envy I have over you owning a McFarlane Spidey. Well technically it is a Fearsome Foes Spidey

Might be getting into some trouble here but... What was bad about the Toby Spider-Man movies? Not that I really care about the movies, just wondering. Also I haven't seen amazing Spider-Man but I've already heard bad stuff about that as well, what's up? This is the only thing I've seen about it:

I actually don't mind the Maquire Spider-Man movies though I agree 1 & 2 are far better than 3. But then I used to love the 70s TV show ...

For me Toby just wasn't right for spiderman or at least not how I built him up in my head. The 3rd movie well if u have seen it u will know why fans of the comic hated the movie. I mean the first and second one weren't that bad I guess but again just not how I saw spiderman. Now the newer one was better than the other 3 I thought or at least it made for a better movie IMO and u know I feel the same way about almost all of the superhero movies. They just didn't live up to the comics or at least not for me. Come to think of it the only movie I've seen based off of a comic or graphic novel that I thought was really good was sin city and I only like 2 of the stories in that. The one with the guy with the red chuck taylors on whos name I can't remember (the actors name was Clive Owen I believe) was aweful. I just remember him over acting and saying "not right now gail" lol. But Mickey Rourke killed it in that movie. Anyway these are just my opinions

It's probably the lack of interest and knowledge of spider that stops me from thinking the movies are bad. I do agree with 3 though, for some reason it didn't feel as good as one/two. A bit rushed maybe? 3 new characters in one movie.

I think 3 felt rushed because Sam Raimi was kinda forced to add Venom to the movie by the producer Avi Arad if I remember correctly.

I really liked the Wolverine one with Gambit in it and Iron Man 1 (seen both at least three times). I just watched Captain America and Thor this week and they were alright. Spider-Man 1 with Toby was alright.
