I’m glad the line is still going! However, I will nitpick and I wish it was a new SSG Goku to go with the already released Beerus instead… Looks like my wish was finally granted! Not my Photo, but it looks like we are finally getting a 5 inch scale Super Saiyan God Goku! Something i’ve always wanted since 2013 when Battle of Gods first released! Plus, he has the correct paint apps for the Broly movie body that initially was released without the kanji on the gi!  |

I'm definitely gonna try to pick this up early since I'm in the west Covina area, and as future trunks said, It'll be great next to beerus

So far all of the reports I have seen regarding these SSG figures have been from California and Oregon. I'm thrilled to see them, even if they are just repaints. I would have preferred a unique hair sculpt for Goku... but not having to buy metallic magenta/red paint to make one myself is great... I guess we'll have to wait and see if a second batch is released later with the Target brand on the cardboard. I assume that there isn't an Amazon exclusive this time, but you never know... As far as repaints are concerned, I can't imagine any characters that would be likely as an Amazon exclusive. Obviously, we are still missing a Beast Gohan, so if we do see a third store exclusive, I hope to see him. It would be somewhat possible to make a regular form Jiren by just repainting the previously released Jiren, but it would not be perfect. I would also like to see a base form (non-SS) Future Trunks, but again, that cannot be accomplished via just repainting. We'd need a new hair sculpt. |
