Oops! Yeah, he wears sandals like Yajirobe I think. Looks good overall. One more down, 400 to go!

Two down, two to go. Shugesh joins Fasha in Bardock's Planet Elite Force. Just missing Borgos and Tora now! Also I've -just- realized I was making him without looking at the picture, and so instead of giving him the sandals I made boots. *facepalm* I'll have to change that some time. Nice.!

Wow, that Goku in driver's ed clothes looks awesome in particular. He looks so relaxed! I like the Toppo too, he's huge! Good work on all of these.

Branjita Thank you once again for the kind words! The Casual Goku is made from a One Piece Luffy statue bootleg I found for 3 bucks (shipping included!), I shortened the limbs and grafted some SHF arms onto it and the head of Goku obviously, and a full repaint. Postboy Piccolo is the torso of a Jakks Buuhan I had in pieces after taking the head for a Buuhan/Buutenks/Buucolo, and the legs are from a Dragon Stars Android 17, though both the torso and legs were heavily modified. Toppo is a Figure-rise Jiren with SHF Hulk hands. I resculpted Jiren's head to make Toppo's, added the ears, a larger nose, rounder cheeks and the enormous whiskers. And a full repaint. Thank you for your interest in these!

Thanks everyone for the very kind comments and appreciation of my work, it means a lot coming from such connaisseurs. I've been thinking for a while that as such a crucial plot point to the Buu Saga (and even before that other important events), the World Tournament really should get more love in this collection. So I decided to give it its favorite Announcer, whom we see from early DB all the way until GT. I hope you'll like him!

The announcer looks good. Did you put an airbrush puff of white paint on his glasses to look like a glare?

The announcer looks good. Did you put an airbrush puff of white paint on his glasses to look like a glare? Thank you very much! The recipe for him was a Figma John Wick and the head was sculpted with epoxy resin from a SHF Teen Gohan base. For the glare on the shades, it's just a little photo magic, I did paint them with a shiny black paint but they don't quite reflect that much light. I'm pondering using a chrome paint pen I have, not sure yet.

It's been a while, huh? I've always loved the design of Hirudegarn from the Wrath of the Dragon film, even if the characterization isn't anything to write home about, the fact that it's such a huge creature, with such a simple motivation ("Bwaah must destroy everything") and its striking color scheme and silhouette have always struck my fancy. I've not yet attempted to sculpt a large "not quite" SHF scale Hirudegarn, and I keep hope that someday Ichiban Kuji will maybe make one, but in the mean time, I decided to make a variation on it. Imagine if you will, that Cell went on to absorb most of the world population, and while attacking a population center stumbled upon Tapion and absorbed him, unknowingly absorbing the genes of Hirudegarn from inside his body... and becoming a whole new brand of perfection. I hope you'll like it as much as I do.

I think this is a super cool idea. It's almost what Hildegarn would look like if for some reason he transformed to a human-like size.

Branjita Thank you very much! With the upcoming Zarbon and Dodoria figures, I started working again on an old project to make several soldiers of the Frieza Force. I made Appule a long time ago, and Oren a few months back, but this week I've rapid-fire done Blueberry, Raspberry, Banan, Cui, and Malaka the medic in front. Banan was already made by Demoniacal Fit but I consider mine a custom because I didn't get the DF Banan figure when it was available and so mine is a repainted DF Ginyu with a repainted head from the other Frieza Soldier released by DF. It gives them different heights too so it works out. The rest are made from Saiyan Vegeta figures, except Blueberry whose base is a Jakks Nappa (and Jakks Nappa's head repainted for Raspberry's face). WCF head for Blueberry, WCF Blueberry helmet (carefully hollowed out) for Raspberry, Cui's head was resculpted from a DS Hit head base. Oren's was sculpted from scratch. Malaka is scupted from scratch with a few parts from another Vegeta, and the head is sculpted on a Roshi's Turtle head base. I'm planning to make a few more, mostly designs I enjoy and to show a bit of all the various races recruited in the Frieza Force. Hopefully the upcoming Dragon Stars Vegeta and Nappa figures will allow me to work on more variations of height and build for future soldiers. (Sorry this wide picture was taken the day before I made Malaka!) I hope you like those, your comments will be very appreciated.
