What's the deal with this model kit in particular? I know Teen Gohan was popular, but there must be another reason this model kit is so rare... I've never seen a picture of a boxed one. I've only ever seen a loose assembled figure for sale which I purchased years ago. Anyone have any info on this kit, or possibly know someone wanting to sell one?  |

Are you talking about this one? I have this random pic saved probably from ebay years ago. All 4 model kits from series 3 are on that top row. I think all of the Irwin series 3 model kits were pretty rare. I don't think series 1 or 2 sold very well, so series 3 might have been a short run possibly.  |

Yeah that's the one I'm talking about. I've never seen a picture of a brand new one in the box, whereas the other 3 from that series can be found sealed from time to time.

I'm not sure. I thought we had a checklist for the model kits on here, but apparently not. I dug through old pics I had saved, and it's definitely not the boxed one in this pic. I still remember that one was false advertising, because Buu Saga Gohan in blue gi is actually in that box.  |

Yeah the one you have pictured there is the older SS Gohan in the series 1 or 2 like you mentioned. There is also this one, which seems to be just an alternate cover for the same you you pictured because they have identical backs.  |

Funny you should say that. When I bought out the guys who bought a bunch of stuff from the Irwin auction after they went bankrupt, I ended up with a bunch of these. All are new and not put together in plastic bags but don't have boxes or instruction manuals.
