I wasn't sure where to put this thread but here goes:
I'm currently the highest bidder on a Jakks King Cold figure on eBay. I placed my bid about 3-4 days ago, and the seller's information said that he'd ship to me for about 24 bucks plus 6 import charges.
This changed yesterday or Wednesday and it now says he doesn't ship internationally. That poses a problem for me, as I'm Canadian and I'm, so far if nobody else bids, set to take the win. I messaged the seller to see if something could be worked out, and I'm currently waiting for a response. I'd absolutely love this thing as I've wanted a second Jakks Cold for months.
What would you guys do in my place in a situation like this? I could use some advice.

Work with the seller and pay any additional charges for shipping but do your homework and look up what it would cost from where he's at to u plus import charges as to not be screwed over. That might be the only way.

Thing is, that info used to be available. Then suddenly pop! It's gone.

UPDATE: I've been outbid by a margin in which I'm no longer comfortable bidding any higher. Issue resolved, I guess!

Story of my life right there. My problem of having to ask mom if I can bid on something suddenly gets resolved when some wacko bids 90 dollars when the previous bid was only 5 bucks

lol i used to do that all the time. When there was a bidding war with a particular item, I would wait until the last 30 seconds & bid an obscene maximum amount that no one would ever pay for (like $500) and scream out “IT’S MIIIIIINNNNNEEEEEE” then win the auction for only $80
