My biggest collecting passion is for comics. Mostly current ongoing stuff, but I do collect older issues as well. I also collect some manga (basically just Berserk).

lgernale Aren't they called Son Of Mars? I used to rock Spiz'ikes but I guess they made those into Son of Mars, as these are Spike Lee's as well.

If you don't mind me asking you got anything noteworthy or worth mentioning. I just recently picked up a Batman #251, a Amazing Spider-Man #300, and a Amazing Spider-Man #50. I also have the first ten issues of Amazing Spider-Man and Amazing Fantasy #15, but those are locked up in a safety deposit box at the bank. im sorry you have what im breaking into your bank |

They were left to me by grandfather when he passed away almost ten years ago. They're supposed to pay for my college, but I don't think I'll ever be able to sell them. He was the reason I got into collecting comics. We even used to watch DBZ together when it was still coming on. Also the bank is rigged to explode if anybody but me tries open the box. |

I mostly collect Mattel Movie Masters and other 6" figures that fit in with them. 70-80% of my collection is Batman related. I also find display pieces or sets that are in scale to go with my figs. For example, I have a fireplace, and two fancy chairs for Wayne Manor, and a desk and chair for Commissioner Gordon.
And I used to collect DBZ figures and just got back into it in the last month or so.

Seriously though, you need to sell those dirty mags and go to Cambridge dude! You can always buy more comics, but you just can't buy a good education, because that crap is invaluable. Believe me, it will be more than worthwhile. What nike said, 'just do it'! |
