yeah the yellow hairs are a pain in the ass to collect. to me specifically: ssj3 goku, ssj gohan, and gotenks.

any reason behind kid trunks having the turqouise hair and future my trunks hair being purple... did trunks have turqoiuse hair in the manga?

Not true at all. If you look at the quality of the figures after vol. 10, it improves greatly. Try comparing the quality of a regular Goku with say a much later figure such as Vegito.

Not true at all. If you look at the quality of the figures after vol. 10, it improves greatly. Try comparing the quality of a regular Goku with say a much later figure such as Vegito. I have to disagree with this statement , at least partially. There was a SEVERE decrease in quality in the sbc line after volume 10 which lasted until Volume 18. There was an obvious change in manufacturing procedures. Paint jobs weren't quite as tight, sculpting definition was not as crisp and all of the saiyan characters had odd, almost pink skin. This would change again with volume 19 where quality would once again rise back up. Hands down though volumes 11-18 are the worst volumes in the entire series. |

and also, i dont like the vol 25 goku compared to the vol 1.   but there have been some improvements along the line, the GT figures are great. along with vol 1-11 |

But his face sculpt is far superior to the vol.1 Goku and marginally better than the vol.00 Goku, with its poor hair sculpt. Had they had made him in his regular gi with that sculpt I'd be pretty happy! I might just have to add him to my collection after all. Most of my SBC figures are Irwin re-issues, so they aren't consistent with the poor colouration and mis-matched skin tone that troubles you guys. It seems all the "main" characters got poorer sculpts than the later releases. |
