Money is perfectly acceptable! Digital goods worth $10 are also acceptable (See my prizes for Half Life 2 and Surgeon Simulator 2013 for Steam)

Since most of y'all aren't familiar with the way prizes work, I'll quickly explain it. The big black background pic from 2008 explains it in more detail though. I'll have to make a new version based on the number of prizes donated and and the number of entries for this year's contest.
Let's say we have 14 entries like in 2008, and 20 prizes. 1st place doesn't win just 1 prize. They win 6 (look at the big black background image), and they get to pick what they want in specific turn-based order. So let's imagine for the contest we're having now that you donate your $10 prize so you can enter up to 5 scenes. You decide to enter 3 scenes. If only 11 other scenes enter (14 total), and there are 20 total prizes available (just like in 2008), you have the opportunity to win a ton of prizes. How? Because if you were a total badass and won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with your entries, for your tiny ~$10 prize donation, you just now won 6 + 4 + 3 prizes (13 prizes!).
Because of how many entries we're allowing, and how many people seem to be interested, I had to make 1 $10 prize donation mandatory, because this year we aren't getting as many donations as we did in 2008 when donations weren't mandatory.
In 2008 we didn't have such high international shipping prices, so if you just want to do money, that's fine.
In my example just now above, if you won 13 prizes and you chose all 13 prizes to be money (if we have 13 money prizes...), you'd profit $120 off the $10 you were forced to donate.

Ok, I updated the main post with most of the stuff. I need a pic of the special beam cannon you're offering iami2eapei2I may donate more prizes myself in the next few weeks, but I don't want to overdo it right now. My money situation isn't great. Gonstead you might need to explain what your prizes are, because I don't know what they are. In our poll we have 15 users who said they were going to participate in the contest, so there should be a minimum of 9 more prize donators. Also, you'll notice that for my 3 prizes I'm offering, winners can take money if they want it instead of the figure(s). You can do that if you want, which helps cut down on the shipping expenses @aussiedcfan and others have mentioned being a concern. It isn't your choice as a prize provider whether they take the figure or the money though, it's the winner's choice. If the winner wants your figure and not the money instead, you'll still need to ship it to them (or work out an alternate deal in PM with them). PGV, do you want your prizes to be in groups as you had them, or do you want to split things up more? I think we talked about it on facebook, but I don't want to spend an hour scrolling our messages looking for what you said .

This sounds pretty fun but at the moment I don't have any figures with any real articulation, nor any to donate. I look forward to the next one though

We probably won't do another one for about 5 years or more based on previous patterns, so if you're interested, you better join in this time lol.

Here's my prize. I think it reaches $10-$15 value. Had I not had to pay for two traffic tickets in the past month, I would have donated a lot more, but this will do. Whoever finishes in last will likely be stuck with it lol

I edited my prize. Took out that worthless SZF Saiyaman and added a Popy Jackie Chun and CP Ginyu.

Prize list updated. I changed my prizes to be a little better.
Remember that if you don't donate a $10+ value prize, your entry won't be able to participate in the contest no matter how good it is.
