I've never seen these before. utterly ridiculous, but still somehow kinda charming in a goofy sort of way. Of course, looks like the only difference between the Vegeta and the golden haired SBC version is the packaging. They could have at least made his eyebrows gold as well instead of leaving them yellow, lol.

Aside from Piccolo I don't see why these are gross...in fact Goku's outfit looks much better than the outfit on the actual SBC Goku IMO. Remove the gold hair and glue some black hair on it and it'd be a figure worth having.

Those are actually quite rare, though I'm not sure rarity implies value. They're definitely neat to me.
I agree with Timone about the Goku! That orange gi looks SWEET! Sure, it may have been red during that saga, but why not take the custom one step further and swap Piccolo's sash onto Goku's body (not difficult--I did it ten years ago to an SS Goku and it looked basically exactly like the SBC 3 pack body minus the hair) and make it a super cool looking Cell Saga Goku!

I located a pic of my old custom. I remember it being very easy. The bottom of the shirt did require cutting though. I carefully cut little chunks out with wire cutters little by little and then sanded the bottom as smooth as a could. Forgot about that detail... that does require a dremel or file and some patience.  |

I wouldnt' mind these figures had they put some thought and effort in. Seeing the Goku with B lack Eyebrows and the Vegeta with Yellow show no attention or care whatsoever.
I do like the blister packs. Clean and well designed.

I dig everything about these figures except the Saiyan's eyebrows and the choice of hair on Goku. The box design is really eye-catching! I don't even like SBC figures, but if I saw one of these, I would buy it.

So I talked to him last night about picking some up and he said "Haha sorry duder, way ahead of you! Returned today after training and snagged tuns of stuff! Claimed the whole set of the gold guys, five in total and some other wicked things! The one large mattel vegeto was gone, but new things were in, so i assume they constantly restock! There are now those bandai shooting figures you showed me yesterday.(The 97's) Also, i may go back and grab the dragonbox movie set of scouters! There is also another set of the dragonbox figures too if you want a pair and i can check for more of those gold dudes for ya! The five figure set:  Back:  He snagged some other cool stuff including this, any ideas? He said "And this gem! Heavy as f*** since most of the pieces are metal! Hard to tell, but detail on goku's face is epic!"   |

I saw a lot of those second kind of figure on eBay recently but they never showed the back of the package. It looks amazing how it is set up.
