I was talking with Seal about him last night. I still think I want the purple and blue jacket one instead but he looks really cool. I'd just buy both if I could ><

Other than that, I think the new version Will look better next to the other goku figure (the one where he's riding a dinasour) |

The new version will look more uniform, yes. But at the same time do I really want 3 Goku figures wearing that same alt outfit? Maybe lol. But the purple and blue is more of a standout and not something I already have.
Like I said before, I'd just buy both if I could haha.

It's price is a bit steep though. I usually wouldn't pay more than 2000 yen for statues (except for Figuarts zero of course) so I have high expectations for the quality of the figures. I preordered the goku that's coming out in the end of the month and judging by how it'll be in hand, I'll decide if I'll get the bulma and the bicycle goku or not.

I have dino Goku preordered too, I'm stoked to get him. I'm not going to get Bulma. I find her statue boring and VERY overpriced. Ever since I got Medicos Goku I've been looking for higher end DB figures and I'm hoping these Megahouse statues deliver  |

Bulma is indeed overpriced, but I do like her sculpt and think could look nice (though she doesn't fit in much with the gokus). Due to her price though I won't get her unless I find her for a cheaper price on mandarake.
And yes, I think this line has great potential for its very unique figures released so far. I hope they keep releasing more figures.

I have the Medicos coming to my doorstep as we speak. The Medicos is one that I've wanted for a very long time, and even though the Figuarts are immensely popular, I find them insanely overrated and overpriced. |

I can appreciate why some (many it seems) like them, but they're not remotely my cup of tea. Buying 1/8 scale figures ruined me for having spending limits ><. That's exactly my mind-set as well, however, I'm not a fan of articulation, I never have been. I think it completely ruins the aesthetic and artistic value of the figure if you have joints everywhere, which is why I find the Figuarts line overrated. I don't mind joints if they're hidden, but it's just that. Most articulated figures have joints for all the world to see. His "knee" doesn't look like a knee, it just looks like a ball with something that resembles a shin attached to it. |

am i the only one who thinks ss3 ex goku's hair has gotten longer?? Or am i just imagining it because i really want it haha. It really looks like this prototype has longer hair or something. God i hope so. They better make his hair as long as they have gotenx over there on the DXF display SSj3 figures are ridiculously top heavy, it's possible that they were working out some kinks with stability when the original prototype was released. |
