Check This Out! (Japanese Products)

I did a little bit of research and it looks like "Super Effect Action Pose" figures may have only been DBZ Kai figures. The ones I posted are called "Action Pose" by ebay sellers, but there's no English text on the box to tell you that. SEAP and AP are, like you said, not scaled and just kind of a certain size that happens to fit in the box. We really need a checklist for these confusing figures on DBF.


No English text giving any indication as to what the name of the series is.

Basically the same exact line of figures it seems. I didn't know that.

Here's some comparison photos. My Nappa is a bootleg. I have a bootleg of the toddler Gohan, and yes, he's Figuarts scale. My bootleg one is all torn up currently as I have him as a work in progress where I am trying to reduce his size enough to make him to scale with my Irwin/Jakks collection. His body is a little tall for that and head much too big for Irwin/Jakks collections (well, ones as specific to 5 inch scale as mine). The Piccolo is to scale with Irwin/Jakks to the extent that Jakks Piccolo's hat actually fits his head.

Smaller than Real Works Nappa.


Nappa is smaller than Real Works/HSCF, Vegeta is basically Irwin/Jakks size, Goku is slightly smaller than Irwin/Jakks size (mostly because of his head, so perhaps HSCF size), Gohan is Figuarts size. These in the pic are legit ones, and I don't know if the legit Vegeta is like the bootleg one, but the bootleg one's effects are a part of his sculpt, so you can't just remove them. Annoying!


The Piccolo is Irwin/Jakks scale (well, slightly large and small at the same time--chest is small, arms are short, legs are long) and the Goku appears to be Figuarts scale


Next to each other, you'd never know this bootleg Nappa and legit Goku were from a similar set. I had no idea.

Great info! Can you add that as a checklist topic? I don't care if it's just that little bit of copy and pasted text. It's better than the nothing we have right now on here.

I'm blown away by how good this Premium version looks! The colour scheme is just fantastic. I really love the bag and gun she comes with, too. I don't care that she won't scale with SHF, I've just gotta get this! Does anyone know where she's being sold?

I like both versions just as much. The extra gun and bag don't mean much to me but what really stand out to me arethe orange socks
I don't know if it's worth paying double for it though.

The sketch is really nice but I like the one they chose better, it's more sassy

I think the Bulma premium version should've come with that pose just to differentiate it more than the normal ver. and the price it commands.
