I'm just gonna come out and say it....they need to stop putting so much effort into these tiny, chibi figures. These characters and poses desperately need to be rendered in taller, proportionate figures. I'm a MASSIVE Dragon Ball collector, and I avoid these like the plague. This is most definitely the wrong attitude to have towards these figures. Given their small and relatively inexpensive nature, they have the freedom to do awesome sculpts of less popular characters, and get really creative with the poses on fan favorites. The amount of detail and quality control they put into them is also top notch. Before you write them off, I'd advise picking up at least one. I didn't think I'd be into collecting smaller disproportionate sculpts either, but they really are cool. I can't wait for the middle management Freeza set comes out. |

No matter whate scale of figure you collect there's usually a DWC/WCF that accents your collection well. I love that DragonBall toys have hundreds of random production lines, large and small, that make collecting a literal treasure hunt. Most toylines don't actually come with a sense of exploration, or present any challenges with acquisition, rather than the financial. I know most of the figures appear a bit deformed. I personally do not care for "chibi" style anything. However, all the kid Goku, kid Trunks, Goten, kid Gohan, Puar, Oolong, Great Sea Turtle, Cell husk, fortune teller Baba, Korrin, Oracle fish, Marron, Emporer Pilaf, and several other figures are sculpted with standard proportions and blend in well with lots of collections. I do understand your position though and to some extent agree. It drives me nuts when i see Ox King, King Yemma, And Mech Oolong get produced as these dinky little figures when I would much rather them be actual articulated toys.I just dont think those sentiments detract from the novelty and likability of what these figures are. |

I have a ton of these and the sculpts are amazing!! Honestly these little guys have the most accurate face sculpts, and this is really what these are about.

Yep,think I should add gsaiya's images to the original post with numbers and names in chronological order as well? Or should we leave them seperate?

doomprevails88 thanks for making that list!! It took forever for me to integrate them all into the original post, but I did it. It isn't chronological at all I'm sure, but it was such a massive list and took so long that I don't know if I care  If somebody wants to spend allllllll day finding out the release dates and organizing everything to be chronological, you're welcome to quote the first post in this thread, erase the quote /quote stuff via bbmode, sort it properly and add all of the missing release dates. It's super difficult even with two computer monitors though.

Hopefully that kid Trunks will be as large as the majority of the figures and not, "kid sized". Trunks, King Xeno, Monaka...im very excited about many upconming figures in this line. They should do a line based off the Jaco the Galactic Patrolman manga as well. Then maybe we could score a Martin. The galactic king.
