Are all of the newer standing figures missing pegs for the feet? That makes them so much more annoying to display... Yes they are, it's soooooooooooooo annoying! Before I dive deep into critisism of WCF recently, let me preface my statement by saying I love these figures. These are my main collection; I buy every set as it comes out (Dragon Ball), and I still think that overall the ACTUAL FIGURES, (Not the bases or the stands), are for the msot part, TOP quality. That said, I'm going to go on a bit of a rant here, but the WCF figures are getting cheaper quality by the set: - None of them are coming with the pegs for the feet like they used to. - Most of the sticks that prop the figures up aren't the right enough length - The holes in the backs of the characters don't seem to be tight enough/deep enough - Characters who are "Floating/Flying" can't stand well do to either weak supports sticks or sticks that are too short, leaving them off the base - A few Characters keep coming with misapplied paint application leaving to face splotches. (I don't mind minor paint issues elsewhere, but not on their faces) But nothing has disappointed me more than the Dragon Ball Heroes set. The only one that stands up properly is Trunks. Bardock's peg is too small, and his feet are pointing down as if he's floating, so he looks ridiculous. Goku's weight keep him falling over repeatedly do to a weak peg. The Female God Saiyan doesn't align with the base. And lastly, the evil witch character's arms, legs, and wand are all flimsy to the point where they look like they were bootlegs. I don't understand what's happening with these figures. Bandai's website where they used to update the sets as they came out seems to not have been updated for months; is it possible that they might be slowly dwindling production of these once great figures?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is getting frustrated here. I loved these too... the character likeness has always been spot on, and no other single collection has the diversity of characters that this one does.
Sadly, they've hit a new low even beyond all the points you've listed. I recently ordered the new Stardust Crusaders Jojo sets and opened a few of the figures. The figures look good at a glance, but two of them (Enyaba and Iggy) come with the standard disc base, no pegs for the feet, and... nothing else. No stand and no way of securing the figure to the base (which, coincidentally, lacks the A B C D E F figure identification letter next to the copyright on the bottom like the other figures in the set have) whatsoever. That is unacceptable in my opinion. I didn't even bother opening the plastic bag, and put it right back in the box in sadness and disgust. As someone with hundreds of these who tries to keep them in some sort of order, the last thing I want to have is a bunch of loose pieces floating around. If Banpresto doesn't get their act together, I'm going to stop buying at this point.

Although the pegs are missing (and were nice) I think the quality has overall improved. The skulpting is better and crisper and the paint is now pristine compared to the initial dragonball/z series.

I do agree that the overall sculpts of the figures have been better, but there have been some pretty bad faces recently, which is my biggest pet peeve. Also, going to have to disagree on the paints, I feel like the paint has been a little sloppier in terms of "Cleaness"; by that I mean having random little spots of paint where they shouldn't be. Overall, I still love this line, i'm just starting to get a bit disappointed.

Interesting lineup for August: SSJ4 Xeno Gogeta, Goku, Vegeta and Gohan with Final Form Mira. We go from no SSJ4s to 7, wow. For me, SSJ4 Gohan would be the one I would want.

Are the Ginyu Force the only ones in the whole set that don't have bases? What's with that? It bothers me deeply in the name of continuity.

I need that SSJ4 Broly!! What's the name of this volume? The line is basically called: Super Dragonball Heroes - World Collectable Figure SS4 Broly is part of volume 2. Looks like he's getting number 10. So he might end up beeing WCF SDBH10.

We need the rest of Cell/Cell Games up through the Babidi saga before all of this Heroes game stuff. It's starting to look like we're never going to get those characters.

I know I'm kind of late to the party on these, but I really want to get into this line. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to start? Good places to buy them? Also, where are new releases announced and sold at? I do plan on saving up and dropping a few grand on a collection of them to get me off to a good start, but would prefer to buy from somewhere other than ebay. Thanks! ^o^

Thanks! ^o^ Ebay is really the best bet at this point though. If you're careful and buy complete sets from Japan based sellers with good ratings, you'll likely be ok. I'd start by getting Super Vol 1-10 and maybe Resurrection F, cause those are still easy enough to complete a saga subset. If you get some Battle of Gods blind boxes too, you'll have a very respectable Super collection up to the Tournament of Power (which this line completely screwed). I think they're going to look especially cool with all of the upcoming Broly movie sets. As for actual stores getting them, it's really hit or miss and always has been. Box Lunch gets the Blind Boxes and has a seemingly endless supply of Super Vol.6. Hot Topic and Barnes and Noble don't seem to carry them anymore, but even when they did, they'd skip sets. BBTS has preorders for the One Piece sets, but not always the Dragonball. As for checking out what's upcoming, I use this link

Does anyone know where these are cheap? Each one is like $20 on Amazon I mean just a few weeks ago I went to a local Comic-Con and picked up 4 WFC Dragon Ball for $20.
